How'd use go?
Only a few bream. Not worthy of a video haha will be fishing for the next week to get some footage and hopefully drop something this weekend. Unfortunately been very busy with work…😪🤣
@@bdadventuresnq yea tru I know the feeling all too well. Might be boating this weekend finger's crossed
Which flats was this on champ . Was a great watch
it was at shelly beach at cape pallaranda. Thanks for watching mate
Half horse 🐎
@@saltwaterfishingnq definitely would have been Blake’s biggest bazz🤣
95cm
Which ones better mud crab or blue swimmers (your opinions).
@@Coops_Fishos I like both, but if I had to choose it would be the blue swimmer
I think I have been doing it wrong all this time 🤣
Townsville is great I just been to lake field tho
@@SladeAuden lake field has some great Barra fishing!
I'm near Sydney, honestly when was this filmed? It's not about the crabs, it's about the weather mate.
@@justme.9711 this was filmed last weekend mate
@@bdadventuresnq AWESOME!!!!!! I don't know the truth, but weatherzone says you have a top of 26 degrees each day at the moment. Her bikini says a lot.
Yeeew 🤙🏽
Crab county 🦀
plenty around to get a feed. I've never seen so many cruising the shallows there. Would be easier with a prawn net!!
@@bdadventuresnq bushy beach goes similar me and boys wandered around there other day seen hundreds
@@saltwaterfishingnq that’s good to know. They taste bloody delicious but definitely need a few to make it worth while 🤣
The shadow work makes it interesting
That was cool
@@Knightysfishing thanks mate 😎
I often will stack 3 or 4 prawns on a big 8.0 circle 😂
The old deluxe prawn combo 🤣
so many just cruising the shallows! thats cool😎

@@Emersonpump23 not wrong mate!

@@wazza_fishing goes to show we don’t target these fish very often 😛 thanks for the heads up
No need to target them! You’ll catch heaps…
Just watched this vid then drove straight to this location and snagged a 62cm bazza on the 6th cast in using a vibe you bloody beauty 👌😂
@@THEbigSquido. well done mate! Doesn’t get any better than that! 💪

@@FishingWorld23hg thanks mate, we really appreciate your comment. Same with you mate 😎
yewww
Yuck Townsville
What did Townsville do to you?
Yeah bro shut up
Is that the boy close to the Cromarty Boat ramp mate??
Yeah mate, first right from the ramp
Isnt that in Townsville?
Yep
Excellent vid mate, great to see someone explaining things correctly and showing techniques ect….this will definitely help a young one or someone less experienced who has never caught a barra, hopefully they’ll get amongst a few…and that’s whats it all about folks 👍
@@calsfishing2620 thanks for the comment mate! We totally agree👌 everyone remembers that thrill of landing there first barra!! Cheers for watching
Hey mate, was just wondering what braid you’s use? Looks like tasline with it being white?? How do you find it holds up with abrasion resistance around the rocks and snags?
@@Jtforlife178 we do use tasline mate. It holds up really well in tight country. Won’t be changing braid anytime soon
I’m really enjoying your videos. Thanks for sharing. Caught my first land based Townsville Barra there earlier this year. Good fun 🙌🏾
Thanks for the comment mate! It is a great little spot 👌
Solid brus 👊🏽
@@saltwaterfishingnq thanks mate! Not bad for the 2nd cast 😛 spewing I didn’t have an esky! Could have been Barra on the menu tonight 👌
My young fella gets a few flat head 5min walk from home in townsville. Can see their holes in the sand bars at low tide when you look for them. Let me know if you want to know the spot.
@@Badonkadonk225 how good having a spot close to home! We do alright down at Shelly beach for flathead. I went this morning and caught 5. Thanks for watching😎
Awesome fight, mate. It was nice talking to you today .
@@JamesSmith-rh3pz thanks for watching mate. Always happy to have a chat! Might see ya down at Shelly beach again sometime soon 😎
Said it then did it....all on record. Legend
@@upup209 thanks for watching mate 😎
Dosnt really make much sense when you say you can catch a Barra land based, when you have legit sat there in a boat fishing an know the area from looking at the sounder.. you can do that just about anywhere, all you gotta do is just stand on a mud bank or in the mangroves of a river an throw where you know there is Barra.. and yes it’s a well known spot, but instead of 5 people fishing it on a weekend there will be 25. And yes most people won’t catch a Barra. But it just shows the power of a KZread video..
WTF, So you wouldn't do what Dean did? check out an area and think Hmmmm, I can do a land base session here!!!!! Everyone fishes there, I see this spot being fished nearly every day. No biggie or secret spot. And yes, the power of U tube. We can teach those that want to learn......
@@JoshDavis-tx4rq thanks for the feedback! 👍
@@Knightysfishing👏👏👏 well said. Sounds like old mate can't catch anything there 😂
great video 👍
Theres a resident big bullshark that lives there now. Saw him there last night, could only pull up a few queenfish. The barras dont bit when the bullshark is cruising around.
Got to love the old taxman. We haven’t seen one there yet but that doesn’t surprise me that there would be 1 sniffing around. Haven’t tried this spot at night for a while now, always had better success during the day. Thanks for watching mate 😎
Not bad mate, I have got a few there as well. It's just knowing when to go. No big secret....
Thanks mate! You’re not wrong there. About 10 people fishing the spot when I left.
Years ago before the bridge, that spot had an large pipe travelling underwater from one side of the river to the other and was famous for catching big Barra! Lot's of fishing articles written about it in the past! Cheers
Thanks for watching mate!
you just unproved your point of you not needing a boat to catch barra by saying oh ye we scanned this with the boat so you know theres barra there
its a known hole
guess that was missed in my welcome to townsville package
@@mathewemery3330 👍
@@blakehutchison-uk6vw thanks for your feedback 👍
should try fishing with a gimp shrimp from Audacity
They do look good! 👌

@@upup209 thanks mate
