  As sasori fan, I really love your videos man, I hope you keep uploading more videos, I have the game and tried to play as sasori but its extremely hard in ranking and sometimes the puppet keep falling when being attacked and can't use any attacks or jutsu, you are genius

  Respect in my opinion, But IMO(HEAVY) puppets are just not optimal anymore or even styles of running and defense in connections anymore. Supports regen within seconds and depending on who you're playing just makes the game miserable. Ill still play that tenten tho

  Idk. Maybe i'm very used to fighting puppets or the players i come across don't know how to use them all that well, but i don't struggle agaisnt puppets nearly as much as i did back in storm 4. Yet i don't feel like they got nerfed or anything. Maybe they just got power crept by justus and assist traveling far enough to reach the puppeteer, and items being limitless giving me more tools to stun them. Just a guess tho.

Why you guys are so defensive I understand you are a puppet user but you don't have a plan. When you play with puppets having distance is your advantage but playing with no plan as a puppet user will get your ass wiped out if your opponent can play but he wasn't good either that's why I said both are trash

  Hello! Big fan of yours! Do you have like a guide or something on how to master puppets? I am a beginner and I do not understand what makes a good player vs a bad one. How to manage resources and stuff like that. Thank you and keep up the good work❤

  I'm not the creator of the video but I can give you a couple pieces of advice if you'd like. I do suggest mastering the mechanics first before going to puppets because puppet masters quite literally have to multitask and worry about at least two things at once at any given time. But if you really want to start with puppets, get used to how your puppet moves in free mode against ai. If you hold guard you can move your puppet around freely, but the most important thing is that it will quickly recall to you by holding guard. Don't try to rush your opponent from the side or behind if your puppet is too far away. Usually it's best to call it back at least until it's in front of you and then dash. If your dash hits your opponents guard you can do a grab immediately after it bounces off to counter this. You'll want to try and keep distance from your opponent because that's where puppet masters excel. You can waste their substitutions using your puppet as they'll have to close the distance and you can disrupt them with your puppet. Some general advice: Health is secondary in this game, your most important resource is your substitution gauge. Always try to keep the edge in this regard, you'll want to force your opponent to use their substitutions before you run out, that way you can start getting off strong combos without worrying about them escaping. Get used to jump cancelling as well, that's a huge defensive maneuver in this game. You can jump once to cancel almost any animation, and double jump as your opponent dashes at you to jump over their head, this will save your guard from being broken too quickly. Don't run around to the side too much unless you're dodging jutsus. It's usually better to jump to the side into a block if you want to maneuver your character around because other players are very fast and will likely be rushing you. Things like throwing bombs and ninja tools are also faster and easier to hit while hopping, so bear that in mind as well. Make sure to deploy your supports strategically too, don't spam them. Use them to open up your opponents to attack, or right after a block to push them away.

  Hey man, glad to have you around! Some general puppet tips are to always pick strong defensive supports when you start out. When you learn puppets you will feel like you have a big disadvantage vs most players, even players that aren't too good. Having supports like Pain, Ashura or Momoshiki can help by giving you room to breath. Focusing on defense is the first step, and the 2nd is to learn how to control the pace of the match. You need to learn to use all the tools of puppets to waste subs and get damage when you can. It's hard to explain in 1 comment, but play puppets a lot and supplement with gameplay of strong puppet users. You will eventually get the hang of it.

  It can be! It really depends what character you are up against and how your opponent plays. If they have strong supports that lock you down and a character like Ashura with a strong jutsu they spam all day then you'll be blocking a lot.

  Great Content! I attempted using puppets yesterday, I'm a little confused about how you're able to recall puppets in real time whenever they get knocked down. Are they just always blocking whenever they aren't landing a throw/combo/jutsu? I picked up some things like landing one of the jutsus after landing Sasori's ULT (if memory serves), and to throw whenever there's a chakra dash between both sides. But Happy New Year~!

  When your puppet is downed then you have to wait for it to return. Which mostly means blocking and "bunny hopping" around to avoid damage. That is why strong defensive supports are a must for people who are learning puppets. There are some advanced tech that allows you to pick up your puppet faster when it is on the ground. They can be situational though. An example is if your puppet is downed while it is performing a combo, then you can pick it up with a dash input and perform a spark dash.

  You know i played against some good puppet players and there weakness are 1st and 2nd hokage(specifically first) all you do is use the first ground slam Justu and the area of effects knocks the puppet down and the controller has to block the slam as well. Works pretty good.

  @@Jovernal This method works on puppets. Press d-pad with a throwable item followed very quickly by a counter input and then press the guard break pill quickly. That should do it. It's pretty easy input.

  We'll never truly know how to scale Sasori's strength, especially when he indicated he had a huge number of variety of human puppets with different jutsus in the manga.

I hope Kishimoto has gas I the tank to expand on more stories because Sasori has so much more to offer to the lore than what th Minato manga did. 2nd and 3rd great ninja wars, how he fought in the 3rd great war (he possibly gained his Uchiha puppet defending the Sand from the leaf) and eventually killed the 3rd Kazekage. His travels around the world, how he destroyed an entire nation with his 100 puppets. His true induction into the Akatsuki(I have a very hard time believing Konan was the one to defeat him and bring him in, I know he had to have a puppet with some type of oil weapon or jutsu.) His friendship with Orochimaru and anything in-between like Chiyo or Pakura's efforts during the Wars. There is so much to be explored through Sasori.
