  Hello, I have the same corsa c colum but mine is tilted. Need to shorten it a bit but not sure where to do it. I have barely space between the pedals and the gearshift also runs behind the steer😵‍💫. I am trying to fit this to a motor home fiat ducato 1990.

  I only use the base model Corsa columns which are not tilting and easier to mount. Not a good idea to modify the column but if you have to, do it at the bottom.

  I have the same powersteeringbox on my daimler v8 250 but have a normal steeringbox but it diddend fit , witch steeringbox did you use then?

  I’ve just fitted a Corsa C unit to my 1950 F1 pickup truck and used the controller from the guy in Portugal. I wired it as per his instructions but it doesn’t work. I’ve fed current directly to the motor and this works, is there a way I can check the ECU to determine if this is faulty or if it’s the control. Thanks Tony

  Thanks for the video. Do you remember the name of the aftermarket module that communicates with the ECU. I need to get one for my build and I'm using an NSK j500 ECU that goes with a vw fitted electric power steering unit. 3 wires for communication.

  Mercedes 190E W201 4cylinder 1984-93. Inlet 43mm 1020531601, exhaust 39mm 1020500327. Also requires standard valve collets and caps, reaming of guides to metric 8/9mm and relapping of seats. Better and slightly bigger valves at a fraction of the cost of replacement Derby valves and guides.

  Nice demonstration. Actually working with an exact same unit these day with goal of RC steering for a full-size quad. I’m probably gonna discard the control unit and just buy a new dc motor driver and hack the angular sensor. Can update on my channel when I have something to show (within the next month or so).

  Hi Im attempting the same conversation on my mk2 jag I’ve just approached moto lita regards a boss they have quoted me £750 plus vat etc if you worked out a cheaper alternative I would be grateful for any advice.

  Hi its still not fitted yet I’m doing a full rebuild, but I’ve cut both shafts & welded a sleeve over so it has the correct splines etc, a fair bit of cutting under the dash is required, regarding the horn that will be on the stalk

  Hello, great video by the way... I just want ask a quick question. The red cable you’ve got connected to the battery with the clips. Where would you connect that red ignition cable when you’ve installed the whole power steering unit in car? Thanks, Mike

  The thin low current red wire goes to an ignition on positive, the thick red goes to a high current battery positive supply (such as starter solenoid) via a 30 or 40 Amp fuse.

  2013 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport. Very cold this morning -20C and the EPS warning light on when car started (easily). Warmed up the interior and some heat to the engine compartment. Ignition off and then back on, EPS warning light cleared, steering normal. Solid state electronics better than liquid steering pump???

  No reason why electronics don't work at low temp (high temp can be a problem). More likely battery voltage was a bit low after cold starting and system disabled itself until voltage came back up once alternator had run for a minute or 2

  @@msinclair810 Maybe. This morning -15'C in garage, block heater and battery warmer not used today but car starts promptly. EPS light went out quickly and steering loose ready to go! Mysterious. So maybe switch off after a long warm up and then restart should clear it.
