  My daughter's friend is hindu (they come from India) and I was making a picnic for the girls after school. Much of what I made would be considered vegetarian. I baked bread without dairy/eggs, etc. But I made cookies that has eggs (no dairy)..the eggs are from my friend's father's chickens, and they are very loved and well-cared for, so no pain or hatred in their lives......would that make a difference? I know that they separate their pots that cook vegan meals from their pots that cook meat. Some of the family members don't follow the hindu lifestyle, but I believe the dadi and my daughter's friend do.
