I can see why it took 7 months as the level of detail and the quality of painting/weathering is mind blowing! You could stare at this for hours or even days and still not see all the little things. A true masterpiece, the oxidation on the jet engines alone are a work of art.

  • @yufeimao4041

Thank you so much for the comment. Yes I tried to avoid missing any detail on the kit by painting them separately, of course the kit parts have to be simplified compared with real life aircraft, but still the rich eye catching effect could be obtained by patient building/painting, which I would like to prove.

Great work, I am just building the Italeri 1/48 scale SU- 27 and the picture @10:40 & @47:47 is a great help to get the proper red paint scheme of the inside of the landing gear doors. I have the entire camouflage completed (not as good as you have painted LOL ) And I also found some blue metallic acrylic paint that worked perfect for the heat bluing of the jet engines, I already cleaned my airbrush so I applied the blue metallic paint with a small red sable hand paint brush I was surprised how good it worked. So the model is nearing completion, Great video and it is a lot of help.

Very good job.👍 90%+ I would have "played" more with the slats of the outlet nozzle. With that tan, it's not just "blue" but slightly reddish to pinkish shades, where there are transitions between "blue and red", do you understand me? When you anneal the plate, you can see the color range there😉But these are just nuances to "perfection"🤫😇
