I love Vantage, but 3 things really hold her back. 1) Her hitbox (unfortunate) 2) Her ult requires either an extremely out-of-position enemy to really capitalize on it, otherwise you're forcing value. 3) End game utility is garbage. The third reason is really what holds her back competitively.

Vantage is awesome. She can scout other teams when you don’t have your gun out and you hit the aim button. She tells you how many is in the team. She’s awesome with the sentinel

Average Vantage player is trash but when you get an aggressive one it's a lot of fun. Jumping beacon to beacon, thirding every team easy with the ult before echoing in to finish them

There are times when using Single Fire on the Hemlock is the better way to go, like distance for example. The Hemlock in Single Fire mode hits like a migraine; can be a small pain at first, but can quickly become a demon nuisance for you.

I know a lot of people will bitch about controller being the dominant input, but genuinely speaking I would play on MnK if my computer didn't have the same graphics processor as the average toaster. Instead I'll just remain a console pleb.

Not controller but overtuned AA. And even iTemp/Sooxfar often say it. You'd "play mnk" only because you're a console player. If you actually had to play mnk, you'd go back real fast. Only people who never in their lives had to aim manually wouldn't agree that AA in most games is overtuned piece of crap to make players feel good about themselves and spend $ on microtransactions.

I understand that Apex players have this superiority complex that's challenged by giving a little bit of assistance to players using an orbital input, but that means nothing here. I have played shooters on both controller and MnK and I prefer MnK across the board. I don't have a PC that can run Apex at my own house, but I've played on my friend's beefy gaming computer and I consistently wreck shit on MnK. Before the pandemic I played a fuck ton of overwatch and I was much better on MnK then too. Why? Well because I am significantly better on the mouse than on the sticks. Not everyone. Not your straw man console player. Me. I know what I'm signing up for and I know I'm much better with a 1 to 1 lagless input than I am on a tiny ass thumbstick. And I have had to aim manually, something you assumed I haven't because of your anger. Simply put aim assist is necessary because controller is objectively worse as an input method. And "overtuned" is really just your opinion. In my opinion the aim assist is too strong in Apex because countless times my camera has broken my neck to keep my cross hairs on the opponent that I downed rather than letting me turn the corner like a normal person, it's aggravating and it happens too much. But aim assist in general isn't an "overtuned piece of crap" because in the modern era of cross platform play there are things that MnK can do that controller simply can't. For the longest time controller players couldn't walljump, tap strafing and neo strafing were only possible with macros, and jitter aiming doesn't work on the sticks. All of these things are possible in Apex for MnK and contribute a massive advantage. No amount of aim assist is gonna help you against someone neo strafing and jitter aiming will let PC players eliminate recoil to massively outrange controller players. Does that excuse how powerful the aim assist is in Apex? No. But the aim assist has to be much higher than other games because Apex is built different. So, yeah, I would take MnK any day of the week because I know myself and I've been gaming longer than you've been alive (sadly), and aim assist is necessary lest MnK absolutely and unquestionably dominate. So take your hatred and your straw men elsewhere.

Used to be a m&k pc player before games very quickly surpassed my gpu's capabilities on my old desktop and then covid destroyed any chance of getting a new one and eventually I just got a series x instead >.< I have m&k plugged in to my xbox for the games that do support it and it's so much better lol

I myself played controller on apex since day 1 season 0 almost 6 years ago and made the transition to PC now playing both apex and overwatch on mouse and keyboard - I’ve gotten to the point where the controller feels foreign to me 😅 Keep it up with the amazing videos and can’t wait for the next one (Btw my favorite apex duo with you and iTemp)

Fun experiment and you did very good, as a MnK player I probably wouldn't stand a chance on controller. It looked like your sens was set a tad high maybe (I noticed on some close quarters fights and with the 3x), anyway gfg!
