Hey, we're Connor + Alix. We began our van life journey in 2019 when we bought a used Promaster van. We spent a whole year building it out, and in 2020 we took to the road full-time. #vanlife 🤘
We are filmmakers specializing in elopement videos, non-profit documentaries, and adventure travel series. We also love making educational van life videos and free van life resources to help others get on the road.
Here, you'll find van life and travel content, as well as some of the filmmaking we do for our clients. We hope it inspires you.

I have a SUV camper And you would be surprised at the items it has....But the one thing that was a must was a 3gallon bucket with pool noodle seat Bio grade garbage bag TP on the handle And a 2 liter sport bottle ...Now going to the bathroom while pulled over I do have to flip apart of the bed over But just picture where my rear seat(s) use to be And where a 1/2 size bucket sits..Oh and also my the back of my drivers seat has a nap sack with hand san, baby wipes, in with shaving gear
This is amazing!! Such feeling and adventure in every shot. Well done friends!
Saving this for inspiration for shots on the road. Beautiful y’all!
Oh my goodness, this is INCREDIBLE! Absolutely stunning shots. You both have such an eye for composition and editing! This made us miss y'all x100 though!!
Gorgeous
thaat is perfect trip-
I'm looking to build a spot for my composting toilet, in my cargo van I use for delivering packages and mail as a postal rural carrier. I'm getting ideas since I plan on keeping shelves in it, I'm also looking to add a sink to wash my hands.
Congrats!! What venue in cb did you pick?
We were actually the videographers for this wedding! The couple rented Sopris House in downtown Crested Butte for the rehearsal dinner, getting ready on the wedding day, and brunch the day after the wedding. For their ceremony and reception, they rented out a private Airbnb that recently sold and no longer allows weddings. We were so stoked we got to film it!
Oh my gosh, this is gorgeous! I'm feeling super sappy this morning and I'm binging your wedding videos.
Thank you so much, friend!! 🖤🖤🖤
😍😍😍
This was awesome!! Looking forward to the season!
Thanks for taking the time to share the showerbuild very informative well done.
Excellent! Well done & calmly narrated. I like how the comments add to the dynamics of such a project. 😊
one of the most beautiful videos ive ever watched! never stop!❤️
Stunning! Where in Colorado is this located?
Great job, looks beautiful. I would take a really thin flexiable peice of material like the vinyl cutting sheet that you can find at the dollar store or something like it and cover it with a piece of vinyl fabric with spray adhesive or whatever. You can also glue a tab on the back that you can use to pull it off for easy access.
Just watched this after listening to you guys on Chris & Sarah's podcast! What an absolutely epic series, I truly didn't want to that end! I agree with what they said, this series definitely makes you feel something, I can't wait to hit the road in our van. Thanks for taking us along! -Cody

Oh, so pleased to see new travel content here! Your videos are like a breath of fresh air in the sea of endless chit chat travel vlogs of KZread 🥰
Thank you, that's so kind of you to say! As introverts it's hard for us to talk to the camera so this is our version of vlogging haha
Your final words sit with me deeply. Must hold expectations lightly and be ready for anything. Everything you do is beautiful. 🙏🏾
Thank you, that's so kind of you to say. The van has definitely taught us many lessons about life!

So good guys!! Stoked to see what comes next!
Thanks so much Austin!
Any particular reason you chose AGM over Lithium? Just checked the prices on the batteries you mentioned and the prices for a lithium bank of similar capacity isnt all that different. Not too mention the batteries are a lot lighter too for your payload
Hi Hugo, great question. When we built this in 2019, we spent ~$1500 on our AGM batteries, and lithium was at least double today’s prices. Cost of lithium has really gone down a lot. Those Enduro lithium batteries are a really great deal, and even make us consider switching to lithium! AGM has worked really well for us though. One of our favorite benefits is that we can store the van all winter and never have to worry about the temp of the batteries.
At 7:24 . If I understand correctly.. let’s say you had an appliance that sucks 348amps/hours and you use that for an hour. Would the batterie be dead ? Huge thanks for the wire diagram 💙
Glad the wiring diagram is helpful! Yes, 348 amps for 1 hour would use the whole useable half of our battery bank.
You guys are hilarious!
Did you have any problems with your 90 degree drain getting clogged?
We haven't had a problem with it!
You've probably already gotten a fix for your electric panel but I thought a curtain that didn't come all the way to the step so you could still put your foot there without stepping on the curtain might work. Love your van. I'm stealing a couple ideas. The wooden shower floor is awesome.
Ya I agree thais is a very cool van tour! Thank you for sharing with us!!
Hello there! Can you tell me, when you say 100% Solar, does that include driving the van? I am only just beginning to watch your tour. But I think there must be a way to use Solar for driving vehicles instead of gas or diesel or electric.
Hi! The van is gasoline powered, but everything in the RV / home portion of the van is electric, which is powered by battteries, which are charged by solar. 🌞
Hi there! Thanks for this amazing video! Do you remember what height shower door you got?
Hey Shelby, our Nautilus door is 68” high!
