    They are very proud of their work, but I just wondered if they leave an unnecessarily long stump?

  • @Mayrh9
    @Mayrh98 ай бұрын

    I don’t know if that’s the case here, but in some places we leave higher stumps on purpose to stop snow from pushing down the hill and damage younger trees down the years. In some areas it’s also necessary to avoid avalanches.

    Where you are logging and country, you must charge or get paid different then in the Westcoast in the USA,, because the method that you use is really interesting, but from watching and what I have seen, I don't think you get enough loads of timber to even break even here. As to even break even where I log, we need minimum 8 loads a day. And to get that, and with more equipment. The crew has to have everything go right to get to the even number. But I truly like and enjoy watching the video of your company logging, as it is very neat with everyone taking pride with what they are doing.

    Obviously they get paid more, somehow. Thinners here do the same.

    Here in Minnesota we used to figure 1 truckload per man , per day as a rule to break even. Now it is more like 2 loads per man, per day with costs being what they are. That is still barely making to be honest.

    They work you guys ridiculously and you do so much more dangerous stuff because of that pressure to make more and more and more. When is enough actually enough? Just move to Europe your skills would be much more appreciated 🤙

    Pútavé video o konštruktéroch ktorý milujú svoju prácu . V tomto tíme by určite vedeli vymyslieť a vyrobiť ľahší stroj na sadenie sadeníc kde sa robí ručne ako pred 200 rokami...motykou rýľom krompáčom ... chyba vrták na hlbrnie jamok pre sadenice .
