Update on Ace - I have gotten him involved in playing some of the games kzread.infoUgkxECnmSvBSv_NGWx4_ChD73pF3NYZwI2F3 and I can see a difference in his confidence already! My other dog played along and he became intrigued - now its a daily part of our routine - about 3 times a day we do the shell game and the muffin tin game. I am so grateful for coming upon your training techniques!

This is why I prefer cats. All they need is a litter box, no training, no praising, no whining.

My life style is anything but consistent so it’s hard for me to take him to the same potty spot every time. Sometimes it’s the same 4 places or just on the side of the road when he starts getting squirmy. He does still potty inside, but only when nobody has an eye on him. Otherwise we would notice him sniffing around and take him outside. He doesn’t go to the door and cry or anything if he has to go we just have to keep a close eye on him and read his body language and hope he starts to understand that he should be going potty outside.

He presents training in 7 days. Each of 7 items are commands that he believes a dog should know. They are presented in part ii of the book kzread.infoUgkxK8-VQWpYThx4IC6MiIvb6VS1ebTzzdxq . The parts of the guideare divided: part i know your dog part ii the seven commands part iii cures for 7 behavior problems. Each chapter presents a topic, a dog's story, and a "what to do". It was written simply and you can jump from chapter to chapter to review anything as needed.

How much can we use kibble for uses such as training, mental stimulation, helping them build positive associations with den, harness etc. outside of regular meals? I'm worried it will mess up toilet training as we won't be able to plan poop around meals but want to help her be confident/entertained/well trained! Thanks..

Heyyy guys :) here are my tips that I created!!! (Btw if you see the name “snowie” then that’s my dogs name) I hope you use these!! Potty training snowy ⚡️Diet: snowy must have a diet in food, only when I wake up we give him food. We set a timer for 20 minutes then out him in his cage to go to the bathroom or outside in the backyard. ⚡️Stay with snowy: when snowy goes outside stay with them. Don’t do many actions or move or play with him, he will think it’s time to play. You have to make him bored so he will have no other choice but to go to the bathroom. Stay with him for the whole day ⚡️rewards: every time snowy goes to the bathroom correctly. Because dogs ,over the care and love that people show them, as much as they like treats. So every time he goes to the bathroom on his pee pad or outside we have to reward him with a chewy treat he will love. Which will make him know that he is doing the correct thing. ⚡️patience: when we go out make sure to bring a bag filled with his treats and talk to him softly to use the bathroom. ⚡️responsibility: try to make him have no space to use the bathroom other than the backyard or cage. Do that by closing every room when nobody is in it. When someone is in away from that room close the door and he will have no choice but to use the bathroom properly ⚡️don’t give up: a lot of dog owners stop potty training because they think that the dog has finished learning to potty train but it’s not. It can take days, weeks, moths or even more to properly potty train a dog depending on how long ago they went to the bathroom ⚡️don’t punish: it might be frustrating for snowy to go to the bathroom everywhere in the house but if you punish them then they will think that you don’t allow pooping in front of the human instead of the house. E X A M P L E : dogs mind if you punish: 💩+🧍‍♀️=❌ instead of: 💩+🏠=❌ ⚡️ breed: snowy is a Pomeranian and is very small. He has a very small bladder, he can’t hold it for very long. ⚡️ place: always let snowy eat at the same day everyday and poop at the same time everyday and let him go in the same place everyday. So he will see a pattern and realise you want him to do that. ⚡️Guide: force your dog to stay with you at all times and make him to listen to you because after periods of time your dog might still be able to poop and pee inside at unexpected times. ⚡️cage: snowy should be inside the cage for no longer than 1 hour. If you let them in for 1+ hour then they will have no Space to move and will be very unhealthy. Let him smell the pad inside the cage and don’t interrupt him. When he’s done then reward him with a chewy delicious dog treat so he will know that it is good for him to do that and that we want him to do that. He will know that it is positive but don’t give it to him a,k the time or he will do it just for fun and not for peeing or pooping, if you give him all the time then he will just smell it for the treat. You have to give him 1 or 2 dog treats everyday if it’s big. If it’s small then give him no more than 8 dog treats. ⚡️put a treat inside the cage: let him feel comfortable being inside the cage and don’t force him to go inside if you force him then he will feel uncomfortable and sad. It might trigger their separation anxiety. ⚡️wake up, get out: the first thing snowy must do when he wakes up is go outside right away, let him outside for 15 minutes and then let him back inside then give him food after he’s done take it all away and after 20 minutes take him outside again. After he’s done playing key him outside, and when he goes out dont play with him or else snowy will think it’s play time. ⚡️watch: if your not watching your dog let him inside the cage for 30 minutes and then you must watch him and play with him to not make him bored and go away. If your busy and gonna stay in one place than you have to let him sleep with you so he will not walk away without you knowing ⚡️make sure to follow signs: hints to a dog wanting to pee is, whining, circling, scratching and barking.

That is animal abuse. Crates are cages, not dens. A den would allow the dog to come and go as he pleases. You have a divider in there so close to the door that dog has no space. Complete animal abuse. You shouldn't be spreading this cruelty to other people. Absolutely disgusting. Common sense and compassion would tell you that dog needs more space to move around 😭😭😭

Do yourself a favor, seek mental help. A doggy crate needs to be just large enough so your puppy can stand up and turn around easily. Any bigger than that, then the dog may eliminate on the other side of the doggy crate.

You don't want to confine them to a small crate. A larger one is more humane, and better. Worked for my puppy.

Had terrible problems at the first as she would toilet behind my back. Caught her one morning and put her outside just before she pissed all over the carpet. Only had one incident since then, and that has been dealt with. Missy now knows to go outside. Firm and gentle is best, firm with care, not in anger, just a pretence of anger does the trick.

The cage is far too small, the dog should be able to eaily turn around! And, the best reason for not rubbing the dog's nose in pee is that one day the dog will want to lick your face or hand plus it doesn't trach the dog anything.

You make it so easy but it’s not at all. I have a female border collie puppy, I have succeeded to make her pee outside but she doesn’t poop… When I catch her making poop inside, I take her outside but she doesn’t do anything for hours. As soon as we go back inside she makes it… 😩 It’s stressful: she’s able to resist even the entire day just to “release” at night.
