Dr. Sunberg. I dont wish to be unkind, but you are deceived. A few things I wish for you to reflect on. 1. In 1 Tim 2:12 to 15. Paul invokes the creation order indicating universal application. In verse 15, Paul is indicating that women should raise their children in a Godly way and to do so, they must continue in faith, love and holiness etc. 2. In 1 Tim 3:1-13. The qualifications for an elder are directed to men only. See also Titus 1:5-9. 3. In the home a wife is to be in subjection to her husband in EVERYTHING. See Ephesians 5:22-25 AMAZINGLY, you are advocating that a husband is to be in subjection to his wife in, of all places, the church. God forbid. The church of the nazarene needs to wake up and halt the feminization that is taking place. Women have a very important role to play but eldership is not one.
Thinking you're wiser than Paul is a pride i could never imagine to have. Women have power over men by the barrel of the weak man's gun pointed at them.
I find it amazing that someone with Dr before her name can utter such nonsense. Goes to show that there is no substitute for the Holy spirit when interpreting the scriptures.

Thank you for the clarity, Dr. Carla Sunburg.Amen!
Awesome! Thank you for this wonderful talk and info.🕊️🙏🏽
Thank you so much for sharing this! I have felt called to ministry but I grew up in a denomination that said I could only teach women and children. I had given up on the dream of serving in any other manner. This is definitely something for me to dig deeper into.
This is excellent Dr. Sunberg. Thirty years ago my daughter was told by our Nazarene church’s youth pastor that women could not be preachers. She never told me that until a couple years ago. I had heard that female clergy were allowed in the Nazarene church but we had never actually seen one.
The problem with your interpretation of these passages is that there is no record of female Catholic priests or Orthodox priests for 2000 years. Or female Jewish priests for 3000+ years. Either they have been wrong this entire time, or you are wrong.
This is wonderful! Thank you so much, Dr. Sunberg!
Thank you, Pastor Krisi, for this inspiration and challenge to remember God's faithfulness over the years! May those "stones of remembrance" serve to strengthen us in the future as well as today.
Thank you for this message.
Thank you for worship. I loved the hymn, Day by Day. I usually sing "I renew my covenant with thee" to that tune. "When from sin's dark hold thy love had won me, And its wounds thy tender hands had healed, As thy blest commands were laid upon me, Growing light my growing need revealed. Thus I sought the path of consecration When to thee, dear Lord, my vows were given; And the joy which came with full salvation Winged my feet and filled my heart with Heaven."
Great worship service today. Sometimes the lost isn't in the far away country; they're next to us and in need of the Father's love.
We are so glad we came today. While it would have been lovely online, it was far better being in the room. Thank you to our pastors and the adult/youth program participants for making this a meaningful and memorable worship service. God is good.
All the time God is Good!
Sleeping next to the Ark of the Covenant would be intimidating.

Hello, PNC.
What a lovely time we had at this morning's service! I really appreciated the inclusion of two traditional hymns. Thank you for sharing the important biblical truths about Nehemiah 1. God is using a few dates in my life to remind me to depend on him and seek him first in all things.
