    I lack any experience with _Slide's_ system, but it would have been my last choice of a surfskate truck in light of the fact that it is dead-set on only one defined curve around the kingpin with a little more or less spring resistence being the only adjustable setting - I would miss the options provided by a swivel plate + truck bushings while the "defined curve vector + a little more or less resistence" thing can be achieved with CX-style hybrid trucks with various bushings just as well with the added benefit of (case in point) less points of potential failure because they work without adding an additional bearing + spring mechanism. Maybe I'm just biased - am I overlooking something?

    I have watched many many videos on how to improve movement and gain speed. I would like to see more of your style because you're the only person I've see so far that has a symmetrical pump. You bend your knees and kick out in both the front-side and the back-side turn (nicely shown here: 1:51). Maybe you don't realize how unique this is, so I hope this will convince you to make more video's about your style :)

    Oh wow, thank you so much. You really motivate me to do more videos. Is there any surfskate topic you are interested in?

    @@surfskateshizzle9353 This is gonna sound really boring. I just like cruising and am looking for a good technique for going fast without doing a sweaty work out. For me, currently, this is about finding a rhythm that has smooth, continues momentum - if that makes any sense (your movement at 1:51 _looks_ like what I am aiming for). But I can imagine "a good cruising technique" is too boring for a video. So, don't worry, I would probably watch anything you make about improving surfskating in any way :)

    Doubt: rotating the front feet the way you show in the video you're not going to find front feet not centered on the board?

  • @surfskateshizzle9353
    @surfskateshizzle93534 ай бұрын

    I am not going to find my feet not centered. That means it's always centered?? I don't get the problem. The goal is to end up centered. If it's not, you rotate too much over the heel or over the toes.

  • @surfskateshizzle9353

    You can also try to turn your foot step by step. Little adjustments also during the ride no problem 😉

    The back leg being behind in timing tip really helped. I never heard that lesson but it makes a lot of sense. Thank you.

    Cool that I could help you out. A little exercise to practice speed is circling frontside and backside only through push motion. Once you get that you can integrate those little pushes in normal riding to not lose speed or adjust the line. 🙌

    Is it okay if my feet and heel don’t stick out the edges off the board? It kinda just fits the width

  • @surfskateshizzle9353
    @surfskateshizzle93535 ай бұрын

    Sure as long as your foot doesn't point to the front too much it's totally fine. Make sure to use the whole board width, it will give you leverage for your Turns.🙏

    The hardest for me is to push close enough to my board, but also keep a good distance. This is the moment when I lose the balance 😅
