Stop Motion Transformation Videos of Transforming Figures
pron: PEE-oh-less DROO
If you want to follow along, I recommend skipping to the speed run and using your , and . keyboard keys to advance frame-by-frame. Every step of the transformation is documented in the frames of the video, in what I consider to be the best sequence.

Hey, Peo. Will you ever do any reviews for Masterpiece Brawl, or Rhinox?
When I get them.
I love this little guy(ceratops)
You had me till the legs
How do you mean?
Im confused, I know this is the MS one but did you do a Newage Slag a week or so ago or did I dream it because I cant find it in your lists....
I did not.
Not bad. I think my favorite after Grimlock is Slag. Still hate that they changed his name.
So much going on with such a little figure... Whew...
Very cool video peolesdru
Can't wait for their Snarl & Swoop reveal, these are just _excellent_ transformers. Their Soundwave tape team was re-issued recently - those are _10x_ better than I expected
Snarl is my favorite.
Time and time again. Legends was the way to go. I love my MP's, but the space is required, and the cost of some figures kinda makes it hard. No going back now. Looking forward to MMC's Defensor.
Amazing - G1 cartoon accurate 😮
Can we PLEASE get some updated mp scaled dinos?
I said this on you most recent ct chiroyu stegosaur video..but man your editing is top notch. I just got this one, and after popping off the chest plate (the little holder pin on the push and pull to the forms) and getting it into halfway arm mode with the.instructions...despite not figuring out the legs..ill come back and try this video step by step to see if your way is easier. It should be. Those pins on the neck hinge, and the 4 way leg rotation is frustrating after 4 hours 😂
Yeah, it's gorgeous, but I prefer tactile satisfaction to aesthetics. I'll keep my SS86. Good work, Peolesdru. I imagine this was probably pretty floppy mid-transformation.
he was manageable. It's why I kept the arms and legs locked together for so long.
@@peolesdru Smart!
Hi, I would not like to give an arm and leg to buy my own version 😅😅😅
Name: Ultra Magnus. Faction: Autobot. Function: City commander. Vehicle mode: Kenworth flattop FLA6 cabover car carrier semi truck. Motto:" Consistency is victory."
Ahhhhh come on now. Typical x-transbots. Absolutely great looking figure but getting there... I'm having Motormaster trailer flashbacks.
That's a lot of folding. Also, tiny gun :P Other than that, it looks nice and clean, how was the quality? Looking at the description, I'm glad I'm going for the Fans Toys one, even if it is an armor up. While the all in one for Ultra Magnus is interesting, I still like the armor version of him. I guess that comes from the IDW comic and the original toy being armor.
It held together well enough for being so fiddly.
Awesome work
“Is that right? Imultramagnus, the Auto bots localcommanderhere. NOWIWANTYOUTOSEETHIS!”
Sounds and looks awful
Very cool video peolesdru
Awesome fig. I have it too, but the transformation is a pain the a..
So. MANY thin tabs and plates... 😨 It's great that it all gets stacked away nicely but getting there is anxiety-inducing...
Right?!
Stacked, heh.
@mechanwhal6590 The actor Robert Stack did the voice of UM in the original 1986 cartoon movie.
Insane figure in both modes, XTB hit it out of the park with this one in all aspects, robot, alt mode and its one of the best value figures on the market. Im still too scared to transform mine though.....
It's pretty spooky.
AWESOME!
Incredible transformation sequence! The kibble completely hides away. 😮
It looks good but it's way too busy.
Yeah, it's pretty nutty. But it held up fairly well so points to XTB for their engineering (which is not the same thing as transformation design) and materials selection. Takes a lot of patience.
I've always wondered, how do you get the pure black background?
It's just a black backdrop I found on Amazon. Basically it's a black sheet. It's very linty at this point but here's the main trick: I set the camera aperture just narrow enough that my depth of field takes in just the turntable - so the sheet is not only black but very out of focus, which makes it very black indeed.
Thanks again for the feature. I really like the figure, but with that said, the desc. analysis is pretty spot on. If you want a more fun, satisfying transformation, the SS 86 is better. XTB made a very nicely proportioned, and nicely pose-able version of Ultra Magnus, that looks good with some MPs, but's it's filled with their weird engineering and elaborate panel shifting. The FT Magnus might be better, it might not be, but I'm happy with the slightly more chaotic all-built in figure, I'm afraid I would lose all the armor pieces.
Interesting, but i think im gonna go with the white optimus power suit iteration. Awesome vid.
That one certainly is interesting. Which company is that?
@@peolesdru Fantastic Model FM-02 Margh
for the cost you cant go wrong with the XTB, its currently $165 at Show.Z, Im betting the FT one will be 400+
Awsome ✨️😎🔁
Super Dope!! ✨️😎🔁
Not a bad figure ✨️😎🔁
Cool!! ✨️😎🔁
Nice! ✨️😎🔁
Fantastic!! Outstanding!!.. Awsome Job. Best Ultra Magnus IMO. ✨️🤓🔁
As someone who purchased this beast and somehow inexplicably lost the instructions...i am so grateful this exists. I'll just slow this down to .5 speed to follow it better, even got a part peeler for these transformations..because these tabs and such are tight.
Tip: When I myself follow along, I skip to the desired "speed run" (which is really just all the photos without pauses) on a computer and pause it and use the , and . (comma and period) keys to move the video forward and backward on frame at a time. This is all in the description. These Cang figures can be brutal on the hands, but they do have nice solid skeletons to them.
I thank you immensely for this video! It would have taken days of messing with this thing to get it into combine mode. Very excited to complete this one!
Glad it helped!
I'm on pins and needles waiting for that last arm to show up for preorder.
Whoops, I'm waiting for the last LEG to show up for preorder.
Yeah me too. I was initially a little worried about this combiner after the first bot, but glad I kept going!
Another with little to it
I'm on a personal side quest to collect one of every LGBTQ character. I'm looking forward to getting these two ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤎🖤🩶
Ooh, got a little motion-blur in there. Slick. 😉
You can certainly do something akin to "go-motion" when it comes to bulk movements and rotations. For me it comes naturally when I don't hold the figure still.
Not sure when they've every interacted, but never mind.
IDW comics.
Jobby will soon combine the thunderking in 2060
Is he going slow on them?
@@peolesdruhe has reviewed 2 of them. The first one was 3 years ago 🤣
Thank you for the feature! I'm glad you enjoyed shooting the figures, they're a pretty fun duo. I'll have to check out that Q/C issue you spotted, never noticed it.
Thanks for the loan! Yeah I noticed one wasn't as flush as the other and saw the pin error. I don't have a pin pusher that size or I'd try to fix it.
Every time I see Chromedome I can’t imagine him with any voice other than the one where the guy’s so obviously holding his hand over his mouth
Hehe
Few voice actors can top Omni Production's artistic liberties.
I like how Rewind’s fists form the cassette spools.
Very cool video peolesdru
Adore IDW representation. Look like they jumped right out the comic.
Lovely figure. Are there any good figures with a motorcycle alt?
I'm honestly struggling to identify something as the "best motorcycle figure". Maybe other commenters can help out. It's hard to think of one that would fit my important criteria for if a figure's transformation design is "good": No partsforming (this dq's a LOT of motorcyclebots) Accurate alt-mode (very rare) Cool robot mode (hardly any fail at this)
Anyone have good recommendations on order sites for reproductions look for 10-12 inch tall...
