    Top Tip don't take your shirts off at customers houses they don't like it and it's not professional.Get some t-shirts with your company logo on and look smart and tidy it goes a long way👍

    don't work yourself too hard mate, I'm 36, started 12 years ago, but now my back is knackered and doing anything aggravates it/debilitating, I'll always be self-employed gardener/I love it, but now needing more and more help from younger chaps, take care

    It let me down about 4 times on about 4 jobs. It works exactly for 7 minutes and then stops and nothing can get it going. Have to wait about 2 hours for it to start again

    Should always overlap the membrane, you'll get weeds coming through the middle in no time, hopefully it's not cheap stuff as it only lasts 8 months maximum compared to the expensive stuff.

    The firsy one was a £60 job atleast. Second one i would say £120 minimum. Its not only the time its the skill and tools people should be happy paying for. Its a specialised field. Pun intended. Well done lads. Youve got a good attitude and you deserve to ask more for your services.

    Cracking job there, your yellow rake is long handle , please look into long handle shovels similar length to your yellow rake , the advantage is your lifting with your legs and hips , rather than your back, hence you don't fatigue , can outwork anyone with short shovel , look into flat head and pointed shovels the latter is for digging the other for shoveling , expensive yes 30 quid each , tax right off, Liam will be very grateful so will be your back have a great week , stay dry

    You cannot use the tip the waste carriers licence means it must go to a reclying centre not tip if you get caught it's a heavy fine.tip but some nice tops and work bottoms look smart

  • @HDGardenCare
    @HDGardenCare16 күн бұрын

    I know all waste is paid to get rid off and taken to a waste transfer station, not a government ran tip. I wouldn't be allowed in there anyway

  • @SSHHGardenservices
    @SSHHGardenservices20 күн бұрын

    I would try and get the vehicle mot and serviced at the same time, preferably before the start of the season, so you have got a better chance of not having problems with your van. Driving a van about with brake problems with a trailer on the back and with the weight your carrying is not a good idea. No van or no licence is not good for your business.

    Yeah rookie error regards the cash thing, just declare it not worth the hassle esp once you’ve said that, although the lack of t shirts is unprofessional I also am aware when I was Harley’s age I did do similar things from time without t shirts on but I soon realised it looked bad and wanted to grow the business with more lads so had to make sure I was setting a good example and now none of our lads would go shirtless, also not worth it with skin cancer on the rise

    If you have never layed porcelain i would get someone in to do it because it has to be perfect, not like sandstone. full bed or mortar and always prime slabs.

    They should be OK as long as they laser the sub base and use spacers and a decent porcelain disc in the grinder.

    Thanks paul this fills me with confidence. It is only a very small area. I'm sure i'm more than capable of doing it.It's a risk I want to take. Now is the time to take the risk while I've got a little bit of money, sat there.If it all goes wrong I've got a fall back. I'm aware of the risk going into a job with minimum experience!

    I thought the same and the whole T-shirts off isn’t a professional look But I won’t knock the kid for trying it’s just little mistakes which he’ll learn from along the way as he gets older and more experienced (deffo don’t talk about cash and the tax man online they do watch ) I’d get the break pads sorted at a garage properly safety first for yourself and the public Work wise brilliant it’s good to see a young man working and trying and not sitting around playing PlayStation all day Again no hate just work on the little mistakes and think about your be fine

    They still worked. I grew up in a car garage, working on cars. mettle on metal contact does not make the vehicle unsafe for the roads. This will only put even more wear on the van. I m on a mission to success, and I m not gonna let anything stop me from getting there! I appreciate the concern, but the breaks still worked If you are a good driver, you don't touch the brakes much anyway you would engine brake.....
