Formed in March 2017 in Preston, Lancashire.
Peppered with harmonic interludes and touched with atmospherics, their sound moves over the dial from folk to Indie jangle, and many stations in-between. Songs range from 60’s folk-tinged ballads to full on indie pop.

This from poet Paul Cookson:
“Perfectly pitched, deftly mixed and immediately accessible, their songs feel like old friends you haven’t seen for ages, or best friends you haven’t yet met.
Familiar and warm, but different and alive. High on melody and hooks and low on volume for volume’s sake. Understated and all the more powerful for that.”
Mick Shepherd: Lead vocals, guitar, bass.
Tim Kelly: Guitar, vocals, bass.
Simon (Spielberg) Dewhurst: drums, percussion.
Tony Cornwell : guitars, atmospheres, racket

Fantastic track, really effectively creates an atmosphere of almost dreamlike melancholy, very reminiscent of the Cure. It's nostalgic, familiar, but existential, like stepping into a childhood memory made bittersweet by the years between. The lyrics are evocative of the quiet daily struggle we all endure. As time passes and the world changes, the sentiment of the song becomes more and more relatable. What CAN we do? Are we simply powerless observers in the story that unfolds around us? That contrast, between the pensive and foreboding lyricism, and the wistful melody, gives the song a surprising level of depth that rewards the keen listener with it's complexity. It is at once a love-letter to what was, and a prediction of what may yet come to pass.
Great tune guys...lots of hooks. 👏 The guitars sound like the Bunnymen/Smiths and the lyrics like Strangelove. Are you influenced by these? Kindest regards.
Hi, thanks for the kind words. Spot on with the influences!
