This is ridiculous. They are going to capsize someone trying to to do on water kayak stops. They need to do these checks at the ramp, on shore.
Are you running a med heavy rod for these snook?
Yes one might have been a medium light in the video
I was amazed no one slipped on those rocks! Is that because you were wearing a specific type of footwear? This is all new to me so any advice would be appreciated.
Hey buddy thank you for watching also no I was just in Nike slides/flipflops most of the time. For some reason the rocks there are not slippery like you would think. But I did see a lot of people just wear old running shoes on the rocks to not slip. Of course the shoes got soaked but I think they planned on it. Overall though with the rocks not being slippery any footwear should be good! Hope this helps you and you tear up the fish! 🎣
What size rod are you running there?
I had it on a st Croix 7ft medium light mojo inshore, but I like it better on my 6ft st Croix avid medium heavy for bigger fish.
Please someone help can i use this rod with daiwa cc80h reel on this? And what line should be the best?
Yes you can use it with almost any bait caster reel! Also the line depends on the size reel and the fish you target I would put 15-30lb power pro braid on it, but thats my preference
@@crhooked thanks a lot i will subscribe
@TopiasKantola I appreciate that what kind of fishing do you do?
Bucktails rule. 👍
Yeah they do they catch almost every type of fish!
Class
?? Huh
@@crhooked great fishing.
Would this real hold up good to weighted rigs and pier fishing?
I think if you get the 5000 or 6k version I think it would be just fine the 4k version I got is a little small. It will handle Spanish, smaller kings, and jacks, and etc. But I would not be casting the 4k version at Big jacks or tarpon.
@@crhooked what? There isnt a 6k model. It only goes up to 5k bud.
Which bridge is this one?
Aye if I come up there, could you show me around?? I’m in the Houston county area and ain’t never been to Lake Blacksher
I wish I actually live in Florida 😂😂 this was just a trip for the holidays
@@crhooked ahhhh gotcha!!
Yeah sorry buddy good luck on your trip though.
@@crhooked Preesh!! Great video btw!
Oh those red snapper are beautiful 😍
Just got home from filling the bag up with trout today! Also yeah they were thank you!
does the handle and knob screw made from plastic?
The knob is rubber and the handle is metal
Might have missed in the video but what pound like are you using for your main
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
How do you wan?
??
What is wrong with you? Fishing big sharks from bridge?
Next time I'll fish for them from the sky 😂😂
Is this or the aird better?
That's a great question I'll grab one and do a review on it. But from just basic information looking online I found they are similar in quality. But with daiwa I feel like for the price you can't go wrong. Good luck buddy 🎣
@@crhooked thanks!
With conditions like that what size weight are you using? And size hook? 50 lb leader?
We free lined the bait like 10ft in front of us, so no weight. Hook size was 3-4 bkk hooks, and we used 30-40 lb leader good luck buddy! Really the biggest tip though is make sure there's an incoming tide, you want that blue water from the ocean pulling in.
Gotcha! Thank you. I used to go here a lot growing up with my dad and he used to catch snook every time and I would mimic what he did and still never caught one there.
😂😂 that's what I love and hate about fishing you can do everything right and still not catch or it can be an awesome day. But yes sir good luck and thanks for watching.
Nice catch
Thank you not a bad fish for her first snook!
you think this rod would do good with a senko?
I have fished it with artificial worms no problem! All depends on the style of play you want but yeah it would!
Save some Gatorade bottles and freeze them. A lot of times ice from machines and gas stations are barely frozen. You'll save room in your bag and a deep frozen water bottle will be colder. You could also put the frozen bottles in the bag and put the bag in your deep freeze and have last even longer. Fill the bottles a little less than full so it has room to expand when it freezes.
Why did we grant game wardens the right to board our property without warrants or suspicion of committing a crime? Feels like an infringement of the constitution. The idea of another man having the right to just jump on your boat for a random search then get to have his hands all over your fish just doesn’t sit right with me.
Lol. Nice. If only it was really that east though. 😄
What legal size for mangrove/grey snapper ?
Legal size is ten inches in Florida unless your offshore then I think it's 12 inches
Thanks for the review. I’m just getting into fishing and this rod looks perfect for my budget
Yeah for the price you can't beat it this video is over a year and half and the rod is still going strong! Good luck in your fishing endeavors 🎣!
Hello? Are you out there?
"I'll be back"
the damn tax collectors are out of control
Dry some dry ice
Solid snook fishing.
Thanks buddy can't wait to get back out there, nothing like catching them off the jetti!
Nothing annoys me more than people who snook fish and have no clue how to hold one like stick to bass fishing holy fuck.
Yeah unfortunately it's nothing but googans out there.. if you watch I try to explain how to hold them but they didn't listen.🤷♂️
Love ❤Sebastian! 💦☀️🌊
Agreed it is an amazing place with a great fishery!
Your hooks are too big….
What's size would you use?
@@crhooked 02 thin wire circle depending on the size of baits, may be bigger as the bait gets bigger
Sir Big Cat fever company rod price India
????
What do you mean
Not a fisherman. Fun to see other people get excited about but I was not built with the patience for fishing. How do you think this would fair as just a cooler?
Sorry for the late response but thanks for watching! Also yeah it takes a lot of patience for sure. I think it would be decent as a cooler, But it all depends on how you plan to use it. At $55 you can possibly get a cooler that fits your needs better or keep drinks colder.
@@crhooked thanks for the feedback!
@@jamesredline1352 No problem Buddy hope it helps but for kayaking it's great.
How’s the processor on it? I’m debating between this and the newer striker vivid 4 cv. I’m worried the 43cv will be slow because it’s an older model.
Not gonna lie I have never had a problem or any slow issues with mine. I've used it a good bit for long periods of time. Overall it's a good device for the price!
Am based at Sebastian as well. Did you get your bait at long point? Incredible catch!
Heck yeah buddy good luck it's a great fishing spot. Also we got our bait at the smaller beach inside the inlet. We just cast netted them.
Small Amberjacks taste great too
Not legal to keep here unfortunately
@@crhooked makes sense, In Spain the min size is 30 cm which is just stupid in my opinion I set the min size for me at 50 which I find more reasonable.
@@nicsksbj779 that's crazy for where I live it's 71 cm
I love the keys great fishing
I agree such a great place to be and the fishing is top notch! Thank you for watching 🎣
Nice flounder!
Thanks buddy I haven't targeted them in a while! Appreciate you for watching
They could have gotten you for dui :(
No they couldn't I was not drinking lol
How does your boat handle I have the same boat haha? I’m planning on re powering I see you have a 200 on it
Yeah I bought it this way and it ran good took a little tuning with prop size etc but it ran great!
Awesome man 💪🏻
Thank you buddy glad you enjoyed! 🎣🦈 🙏
I am going to Sebastian inlet tomorrow. Can you recommend a good spot for sheepshead and snapper?
Yeah buddy, so the south side jetties at the end where I fished in this video has tons of sheeps & snapper if they are around! With this colder weather the sheep should be there, I know when I went last the snapper bite was on fire during the outgoing tide! Make sure to bring multiple baits like toddler crabs and shrimp to have a better chance. Good luck 🤞 🎣
Hello Mr. Your game is whats up!
Lol I think thank you!? Hopefully you enjoyed the video
Are you at Long Key Bridge , your having fun out there.
I was and it was a blast thank you for watching! Hope you enjoyed the video, have you fished here?
@@crhooked not yet trying to next week, this time of weather still good to fish there, is there any Restroom out there?
What is the oz of the offset hook?
I'm using 2500series I go fishing every weekend I cast for 6hours and I really love it. so far I used it more than a year and still smooth. I'm planning to buy 5000 series for popping. Thank you for the review. I'm from Philippines.
No problem buddy glad you enjoyed the video and it hopefully helps some people out. Also yeah mine still works great and I have landed some monster fish with it. Also that's awesome glad to have you watching 😁 good luck over there 🎣
Awesome stay safe and happy
Thank you glad you enjoyed it! 🎣
That's their favorite response" Just getting started" SMH
Would love to see your buddy bait ha he could be fishing with nothing
😂😂 yeah I think he made a video of the day but one thing I never have to do is fake a video. He definitely wasn't out there to just not catch fish.
