I have the Vader 3 pro and my only criticism is regarding the material of the analogue sticks, which are hard and smooth, which does not guarantee a firm grip and they could make analogue sticks available with different formats.
Dude , can you install extra silicon stick grip without contacting the resistance ring when you move the analog sticks? Have you tried it? Talking about Vader 4

@@Gamerlingualthanks for response , i said it because i use silicone grips in all of my gamepad cause i have better grip but in some gamepad that have low height (or there is a ring around the sticks like in Vader 4) when you move the stick far right, left, up , the lower part of silicone grip contacts the main body of gamepas and block the movement.. If you can have a try and and tell me about i would appreciate it cause i am interested in buying vader 4 .. Already ordered Vader 3 (non pro) on offer and waiting to receive it..Both Vader 3 and Vader 3 Pro have not this resistance ring so adding a silicone grip should not be an issue..

I wouldn't use them. They don't fit from what I've tried.
Not sure if they’re the same size joysticks but ps5 kontrolfreeks fit my Apex 4. It’s a tight fit and you do have to force them on a bit but once they are on they’re perfect 👍🏼
would you choose this one over easysmx x10 or gamesir cyclone pro? I want it for wireless play...
I have those and will be coming in future reviews. For now, I consider the Pro 2 one of the top controllers in general

They may in a future release. Ask their social media or customer service. Flydigi however does check mark everything you want.

PlayStation controllers also work fine on different platforms. But if it isn’t your cup of tea, I hope a controller comes out soon to suit your needs.

I have apex 4 as well as vader 3 pro. I do play Tekken 8. For me DS4 dpad works the best. Buttons are more separated and more accurate for QCF input as an example. Those flydigi dpads just dont work that well for Tekken at least .
I’ve had no problems with the Apex 4 D-Pad. But I do find the PS5 one better. I simply mean in this comparison.
@@Gamerlingual Generally i like the flydigi controllers. Mouse click triggers are nice, adaptive triggers are also quite cool. By the way in games with DS5 support, such as ratchet and clank rift apart, spider man remastered etc. You can turn Apex 4 into D input dongle mode. It automatically gets detected by the game as a dualsense controller and the adaptive triggers work. Quite an interesting thing i found.

You can update the software of your V3P after changing the language of your Flydigi space to Chinese , it will be getting 700 polling rate

I installed the software for this on a VM and set everything up and deleted the VM I highly recommend against downloading any Chinese software
Everyone has their way. I never download their apps to my phone.
Plus, I think the screen is enough even if a couple of key features might be missing. Just program in what you want and delete. That’s all

I got used to it. It's not that bad for me. But, I can't deny the layout isn't for everyone.
Was teh circularity test in Square? That seems awful low, I was under the impression it should be up around like 12% to get an even speed/ feel on the diags for the majority of games. if that was in circle then it seems awful high xD
That’s the point. Keep it in circle mode. Enjoy if you decide to buy it.

Ah. In my experience, the circle motion has been better. But for everyone else, test the feature just to be safe.

Like I said, whatever style works best for the player, that’s what will work. I recommend everyone play with the settings. That’s what makes this fun. Just the number of ways to play games is fun.

Yup. It was already mentioned in the description and in the review of the video when it was released.
In my opinion, if you have the money splurge and the Apex 4. Adaptive trigger stops are faster to spam than the heavy mechanical switch on the Vaders, and it has better analog sticks than the Vader 4. However, if your main concern is a value proposition, i.e. price-to-performance, definitely go straight for the Vader 4 Pro. Either way they're all fantastic controllers.
Apex 4 is my pick.

Function button won't stop flashing when pressing the turbo button. I would have to double press turbo. I think function button is stuck on turbo. Can you get this to work with dongle on Steam Deck?
Not the moment, but they could fix it with a future update. Bluetooth was plenty responsive for me.
Controller seems pretty average.. It has the standard re-mappable buttons, customizable RGB lighting trigger stops . It’s cool that you can customize everything on the controller itself but that’s not really needed and impacts the battery life just by having a screen.
It reduces battery life by about 2/3. Disappointing for sure.
Would've had a better aesthetic if the sticks were horizontal, like a Sony controller.
Like a rectangular SN30 Pro with back buttons. That does sound even better.
You know what i need a adaptive triggers controller but not the Ps5 one so what controller has adaptive trigger motion that I could get?

Flydigi D-PAD is amazing for fighting games. Apex dpad is especially good for Street Fighter 6, very accurate and comfortable to use.

Certain controllers work better for others. The D-pad on this was great for me. Experiences will vary, so I won't deny others' opinions on it.

The Apex 4 d-pad is AMAZING for fighting games. It's fantastic for Street Fighter 6.

Any chance you could tell me how to connect to ps5 I have it connected to the brook wingman and it lights up but the fight stick but it doesn’t do anything no inputs are read. Is there a button combo I have to press to put it in ps5 mode
Press the Home Button. It acts as the PlayStation logo button.

9:40 when you test the input lag, do you mean using the controller in a wired connection (bluetooth Gamepad Version)?
The first part is wired mode with the cable. The second test is Bluetooth mode, or wireless mode. Any other questions, let me know.

I heard there is a wired version, an old wired pro 2 without hall effect and a new wired pro 2 xbox version. I am researching which one should i get.
I only did the new one. I personally recommend the wireless pro 2 because it can still be played in wired mode. Hence the included cable for it.

Curious if you’ve had any issues with the screen not turning on. Controller works just fine and if you know what buttons to push you can still push + and change volume, mute mic etc but screen won’t display. I’ve reset it with the button on the back but still not working.
This is the first case that I've heard as such. Call support for a warranty replacement or return it if you still have a chance. Sorry to hear that.

@@Gamerlingual I'd definitely buy an upgraded version for my old ALPS Pro 2. It's getting old, buttons and dpad aren't that responsive anymore and stiff/loud, sticks are slick and slightly worn, bluetooth latency isn't good. I already have a couple of Ultimate controllers, oldest Switch one and newest Xbox, but it's still a different kind of controllers, not that comfy in my hands and for retro+racing games.
Get a new Pro 2. The Hall effect sticks already do it justice.

Great review👏👌🙏 I would probably consider this had it been able to function on ps4/5 without a bridge control or extra adapter. Too me thats just not a aerious contender, I do however get that some people would prefer it to be multi platformed.
The good thing about the adapter is that it doesn't wiggle. It stays in snug. But like you said, for some it's a big deal. Others, no.
At least some one on youtube could tell what is HALL effect and what is difference.

Hey thanks for this. When doing updates for the controller do you have to use the PC app or is there an iPhone app? I don’t have a Windows PC so I’m now worried that I won’t be able to update this controller if I purchase it
You can update it on an Xbox or Windows PC using the USB wired. It won’t work on a smartphone app because it needs to be plugged in via the USB cable while charging/playing and the wireless adapter also needs its own occasional update from the app.
this stick is the successor out of the te series, it had the features what normal te didn't have

You can map the face buttons, R3 and L3, shoulder buttons, D-pad buttons, etc. as you please. You can’t map the direction that you press on the thumbsticks.

Is there a way to disable any button? I wanted to turn off R3, I play Apex Legends, and when I'm in combat instead of shooting, I ended up clicking the analog stick and punching the air. Is there a way to disable the right analogue button through the software?
Have your controller plugged in, open the Victrix Control Hub app, and go to Configure from the Home Menu. There should be 2 menus under the controller picture called 'Original Button" and "New Button" in the Buttons Menu. Select Right Thumbstick under Original Button and None under New Button. Go back to the previous Home menu, then go back to Configure again to check that your Right Thumbstick still has None selected under New Button. Then, go back to the Home menu again, Click on Update. Don't worry about recalibrating anything. Just select the "Close". Your R3 should be disabled now. I checked on Doom 2016, and I can't do anymore Glory Kills with the R3. Let me know if it works. On my PC, it's disabled the way you would like it to be.

You’re welcome. They said they would take my feedback and discuss with others about what to do. I mean, the Victrix Pro BFG and Elite 2 work fine using all their connection methods. I don’t see why this couldn’t be capable of doing it as well.

Reset your Bluetooth settings. So go to Settings, Bluetooth, Connected devices, turn off Bluetooth. Go back to the previous menu and scroll down to System, Reset, click on Network Settings. It should reset it. Just make sure you ONLY select Network Settings since Bluetooth is on there, don’t reset the other settings. Now, go back to the menu that you turn off Bluetooth and turn it back on. Another approach depending on the phone is click on Search, type Reset and when Reset options pops up, Reset Wi-fi, mobile, & Bluetooth, click Reset Settings and wait for a couple of settings. See if either of those works and let me know. I would personally keep your phone because prices for new ones are astronomical. If you feel the need to upgrade, just do what is best within your budget.
@Gamerlingual seem to work better the d pad feels better buttons also. it still feels better on my laptop more than my phone but mayb i just need to get used to it now. mayb too much stuff on bluetooth caused the lag? thx for your feedback!

I actually emailed Turtle Beach support, and they said it should work. Sadly, I couldn’t get it to connect, either. Support needs to look into it as I told them it still doesn’t work. The only way to play it wirelessly is through Bluetooth. I would tell Turtle Beach to use a Firmware update so the dongle can connect to the Steam Deck. The more people call them out on it, I’m sure that they’ll do what they can do work on it (I hope). Sorry I couldn’t help out your situation.

I returned mine. But once they fix the connection issues, I’ll buy it again. I truly loved the controller. But the negatives outweighed positives. I felt sad I had to return it. In most use cases, the units are fine. I would say, if you can exchange it with another of window of opportunity to return the second unit if it’s faulty, then go for it.

I have a problem with the controller. It does not work after 5 minutes of use. I have to restart it every time I use the PS4.
First, connect your Dongle to the PS4. Try putting the Rainbow Pro 2 into PlayStation mode by pressing Y button and then Home button together and hold them for a bit. The light will appear dark blue. Next, connect your PS4 controller in wired mode to the wireless dongle and connect it to the PS4. Make sure the controller is an original DualShock 4 controller. If it loses connection, switch modes and put it back into PS mode again. Anymore questions or follow ups, let me know.
