All of these incidents are accidents, user errors or bad programming. None of these are examples of “AI going against humans”. That would be like saying an airplane crashed because it has gone against us.

I mean, haven't airplanes gone against us, in a way? they are no longer maintained properly and as capitalism pushes margins higher and highers, businesses start cutting costs in all manner of devious ways. The very technology of the airplane is irrevocably associated with the businesses that build, market, and maintain these devices. so when the airplane fails, the business is responsible, which are run by people (humans) with agency (the ability to make decisions about their actions). Is there not a certain connection between the people that run poorly managed, dangerous businesses and the effect of the technology those businesses produce? I think the nail in the coffin for your argument is the fact that these responsible parties always hide behind lawyers when these things happen, and tend to look for scapegoats within the lower rungs of the company rather than the executives. And if push comes to shove and bad press is generated, the majority stakeholders in these organizations (finance capital) can just gut and sell the place and move on to the next target. So lets be real, @ares106, we are not talking about airplanes and AI robocarriers here. We are talking about leaders and owners failing their society in a broad scale, and giving themselves an easy out by claiming 'it was a technical error!'

As someone who used to work around potentially deadly equipment set up in a similar way, there were always laser boundaries that would shut the machine down should some thing cross. Employer would be at fault for not implementing standardized regulated safety measures. I've contributed nothing to the comparison you've made, but hey, it's engagement lol

I think you might be on canvas mode. On the top left corner of the screen click the drop down button and select "CREATE ON BOARD" then it will take you to the one that I used in this video. Lemme know if this works or not so I can help! 👍🏻

Playground says it will NOT give you the exact face, it changes it into someone else. Is it because I am using the free option?

What they meant by that is the face could have some slight changes on it, maybe face shape, how long the face is, and eyes and mouth placements. To prevent inaccuracy, make sure you mask your images carefully. Edit: Also make sure to add a clear and well lit images to prevent inaccuracy. Hope this helps! 👍🏼

Edit with mask: - This allows you to edit the photo you uploaded. - with this, you can Remove stuff, Add stuff, change the bodies of a portrait photograph, change the skies of a landscape etc. Add Inpainting Mask: - This allows the ai to fill in the masked areas of the photo you uploaded. - with this, you can change the body of a portrait and generate brand new images while retaining the information from the un-masked areas of the images. Looks like the format has changed...I dont have stable diffusion 1.5 but have 14 other "samplers" vs models. I have the pro edition and half the diffusions are pro listed with a blue icon. Any thoughts?

Yeah it seems that some of the models have been removed as well as some other filters. Some really nice filter wer added to either the Stable Diffusion 1.5 or SDXL. On my end since i'm on a free plan, I can only see stable diffusion 1.5 & sdxl (stable diffusion xl). For free account, you can only get, 8 available out of the 14 samplers. I think you should go to HELP section if you are on pro plan and seeing free plan access. Hope that helps.

Its interesting sometimes when I generate a picture 1.5 will show up after the fact ...another words with out prompting and it will have its own edit controls on the right. I'm not sure if this is filter related or not.@@EddieOrr

It's just the Eterna Film simulation. Every other settings are set to zero or off. 👍🏼

To add acros green - Press Menu - Under Image Quality Settings go to "Edit/Save Custom Settings - You will see 7 options for custom film sims. - Select any of them - Now a menu will pop up. You have to select "Edit" - You will see another menu, click on "Film Simulations" - Now go all the way down to Acros film simulation. - Move the Focus Stick to the right and a small menu will show up that lets you choose between Acros Standard, Yellow, Red, & Green. Select green and press ok button. Hope this helps! Have fun shooting! 😀👍🏼

For those, just remove anything prompts that are related to a model. Instead of "Realistic closeup portrait of a blonde model" Use "Realistic portrait of a blonde woman" Disable the negative prompts and hit generate

When I press the drive-mode button on my X100V, no menu comes up. I wonder whether some other setting is the reason for this, but I have been unsuccessful so far in determining the cause. Any hint would be highly appreciated!

Hey there! There are 3 things that I can think of. 1.) You may have accidentally not allocated any function to the drive mode. 2.) RAW may be active. It only works on jpegs 3.) Raw+Jpeg are active. Hope this helps? Come back if it doesn't. I'm sure we'll figure it out! 😀👍🏼

Thanks for the info! I've been getting amazing pics. However, for some reason, my new images have long necks. It just started yesterday. I've tried changing the aspect ratio and negative prompts but I'm still getting human giraffes.

Ah thank you! 😀 To prevent longer necks in the future, - use 512x768 for portraits - 768x512 for landscapes - if you upload an image, don't change the image dimensions because it will cause the image to be pulled apart. - if nothing works, add "Longer neck, long neck, stretched neck" in NEGATIVE prompts. Hope that helps! And glad you're getting great results! 😀👍🏼
