    Why don’t they make these for a 2016 Rebel? By the way everyone DONT NOT use Rock Auto, they have scammed people with their return policy. They will send you the wrong part then except your return then turn around and tell you they won’t refund you. Happened to me and first hand knowledge of others.

Also, make sure you keep track of which pieces of strips go on which side.

    I have your bumper for my 2020 JLU. DO I need to purchase brackets to install a Rough Country 12,000LB PRO Series Electric Winch. or are the holes machine in the bumper universal?

  • @TYGERAUTO

    I checked the mounting pattern spec on the RC Winch, which says 254 x 114mm. That is the same mounting hole pattern on the Winch Plate of the Tyger Bumper so you shouldn't need any additional brackets.

    At 1:40 you show the black bracket that the rear latch clamps to. Any idea where I can get 2? I have nothing under plastic that needs cut out and latch handle is hitting lights in bed before locking into place.

  • @TYGERAUTO

    Hello Brian, that bracket actually came from the factory for earlier Gladiator models. We wish to further look into this issue for you so if it doesn't trouble you can you please send us photos for of the mounting area to [email protected]?

  • @TYGERAUTO

    @@brianbeavis5915 Yes we understand the issue you're referring to. Jeep changed the design of that part of the bed rail 2 years after the first gladiator. What you saw in 1:40 is the original factory design with the black bracket. Unfortunately Jeep removed that bracket later on and based on what you shared, the angle of the latch is altered as a result so you're not getting as good a fit. We would like to have a closer look at your scenario to see if we can help you improve your experience. We cannot provide that black bracket because that's a Jeep factory part from earlier model years of the JT.

    Bought one for my 2020 chevy trail boss and the back of it wiill not stay latched. I have the latch points move in to the last line and it still has so much tension on it that the back is lifting up off of the tailgate about 1 inch. You can see the latch fingers are starting to break at the corners. I have the rails moved in to the correct width as well. The back will actually pop off with the slightest bump. Does this work for 5ft bed on a tacoma? Also, i dont have cargo rails, previous owner removed them (and they are expensive)

  • @TYGERAUTO
    @TYGERAUTO5 ай бұрын

    Yes this works for both 5.5 and 6.5 bed on a Tacoma (make sure you order the mid-size version shown in this video). As for the lack of bed rail. It shouldn't be an issue. You have 2 options. At 2:07, you see the 3 vertical slots in the bracket, just slide the clamp blocks underneath the bed rail lip to screw on; this is the universal default method for models without cargo tracks. If the clamp blocks don't work you can always drill into the top 2 holes (the horizontal slots) and bolt them on. You can see how installation without cargo track works in the full-size model video here - kzread.info/dash/bejne/aH2EutmCZbHHdbg.htmlsi=nL1rLq0rChvDLQs0.

We will have a look and see if there's a market for it and if it's even feasible (sometimes the factory design doesn't unless we just slap on a double-sided tape which isn't what this product line is about). Our next application is for the 4R so we definitely believe in Toyota owners' preference for our TLGs.

    I just bought a 2024 Sport. It has adaptive cruise control and collision avoidance. Will changing to this, or any aftermarket bumper like this, interfere with those functions?

  • @TYGERAUTO
    @TYGERAUTO6 ай бұрын

    As of today, for the Wrangler JLs, there are no sensors in and around the factory bumpers. The FCW system uses the camera under your rear view mirror for detection and presumably the same for the ACC (there's no mention in the user manual but it's not a new tech). So it's safe to swap the factory front bumper with an aftermarket version regarding your concerns. On the other hand, for the JL rear bumper, the parking sensors are located in the bumper; our Tyger Auto Rear Bumper for the JL have the cutouts and sensor housing included to allow you to relocate those sensors to our bumper.
