CW is a "BUST!” in the making and we should have stuck with JF big time. The Bears would have been a much better offensive team with JF no question. That's the big problem with Chicago, not understanding and believing in player development and the time it takes (a QB has to be in sync w/OC and JF needed better OCs to work than what he had). Note: I also understand Poles had to draft a QB, but I also feel he picked the wrong one. Penix is a better QB than CW any day of the week/year hands down.

Pats fan here. I love that we got Drake Maye but im also happy you guys landed this stud also. Glad yall didn't trade out and let someone else enjoy the next 15 having a great qb under center. I know everyone has said it, but truly my only concern for bro is his frame. I know people like to use the lamar comp but thats not fair, lamar came in the league with some bricks in his back pockets. Lamar had some weight to him, thats why now hes abel to add the muscle, he looks swole now (pause) Daniel's just gotta show he can play this violent game with his frame and stay relatively healthy. If he can do that then the sky is the limit, in that division with qbs like dak, jones, and hurts. Jayden can be the best qb there for years to come.

That being said I am grateful that we got the player that should have been the true #1 pick n the 24 draft. Here's the deal guys......As much as we might not realize it, the coaches are smarter than us. For everyone beating the drum for JJ, you obviously believe in his talent and ability to elevate this team.....SO (in theory) if Sam beats out JJ, he has to be slightly better at running this offense. Make this a LEGITIMATE battle and give it to the best man. It's a win for the team and we just have to sit back and let it play out....Sam has seen things JJ has NEVER seen no matter how we decide to judge Sam, I believe he has a leg up on JJ. That's just me rambling though.

Nix is not ready for prime time. College ball is so different from the pros, I give the nod to Zach with a decent OL, a real coach and a running game Zach will prosper. Doubtful at best. Fields isn't better than too many in the league. Six teams used a 1st round pick within the top twelve to take rookie QB over JF who they could've got for a 4th or 5th. Hope you don't coach football.

CW, the roll out side arm is sweet. Again, a skill JF was good at at they both are good at using their running momentum and transferring it to the ball. . Having a loaded offense should get through any difficulties though.

Off the bat Caleb has a very deep and non subtle load up which was part of the problem with fields. He really draws from the back of the hip. It’s a waste of movement especially on the pro level. Have good receivers should help curb this problem. 🤦♂️

It’s more so his anticipation that lacks. Kyler Murray has a long load up too, but his anticipation is much faster. Justin’s throws are typically 0.5 to a second too late. Id love to play safety or corner against him because he doesn’t throw it until the receiver is actually turned around and looking. It’s an easy read for picks all day

Caleb has more body control, arm strength, vision, and the ability to read the field better than most starting qb's right now. Even as a college prospect, hes further ahead than most pro vets. You can't pass that up at no.1 overall. Bears reset the QB clock. They don't have to pay Caleb for 4 years. Fields was at the end of his rookie deal. Slower development and lower ceiling. Bears made the right move shipping him off. They messed up when they gave him full control of his landing spot. So he could choose the worst-value deal out of the bunch. Looking out for himself first. Which he did. Lol.

It’s always has and will be field’s throwing anticipation. He didn’t throw with anticipation for a while. It was typically just a TAD too late, but his new release im seeing here should help that a little, but he’s still got to process reads just a few seconds faster. Ball needs to be coming out as receivers breaking, not when the receiver is turned around looking. That was his issue I saw a lot.
