Simply put, this is a channel for anyone who has those random urges to KZread a hike, run, ski resort, or anything else that includes Colorado. I'll be throwing in some stuff from all over the world but there is nothing more satisfying to me than to share some of my most memorable locations here in Colorado. If you have any recommendations for me to go and test out, I'm all ears! #AvantLink #1162277
I am getting more and more into editing videos. Making them seems to force me outdoors more and more, so I hope to keep them going. Some of the videos I make include...

I'm 50, overweight, but determined. Anything you can say to assist in this journey?
First of all, I am excited for you. If you take proper breaks, bring plenty of water and are able to filter out water at the several streams and water crossings then I think that is huge. Bring hiking poles, and start early. Biggest thing is to just enjoy the views and get yourself a parking spot at Maroon Lake so you have plenty of time to complete the loop without having to take a shuttle down which ends at 5pm. Take photos and let me know how it goes!!!!!
Is it unworthy to get if you have already started with running?
Did the same thing with a brand new drone. Tree was behind it and tied up a leaf in one of the motors. It’s probably still dangling there in a canyon in rural Mexico
I know that feeling too, tell me about it tell me about it tell me about it.
Amazing
Tri berry. 🤘
Beer me baby one more time. 🏃🏼♂️
No better feeling. 👍
Just ordered the QST 98’s from EVO in the 189 length. Can’t wait to get on them in November. ⛷️
🎉You're gonna be churnin and burnin! 🔥
just wanted to ask you a question. I have ran many half marathons and I would love to try what you did? Do you think I could do this?
I did a hike to Snowmass lake going over buckskin pass several years ago for a out and back.
Also, what is the best place to park your car. I notice your parked in Aspen around 6:30am. how did you get to the start? What is your recommendations?
@roebucksadventure I think you'll be fine. We actually went at my wife's pace who is the same and ran several half marathons. We got a parking pass and drove from Snowmass ski resort to the main trailhead at Maroon Lake. This will save you loads of time but reserve it early. Shuttles only run until 5pm so that's why you'll want to park up there. Hope this helps!
This is great! Thanks for capturing it ... well, mostly the first half 😀 I knew the hill out of Troybilt was going to be tough, but I wasn't prepared for how rolly, windy and rocky the final descent to the finish was. Even with sunglasses, my eyes were fried at the end. I would definitely do this race again. Well done on your second ultra! Good luck getting into OCC. I missed out this year -- even with five stones. I'm doing Speedgoat in a few weeks and then Kodiak 100k in October. I may try for OCC again next year or face my fears and try for CCC.
No way,,😂
Great review. Just a question, maybe I’m doing something wrong: I tried to put in the back pocket a 500 ml soft flask but it kept on bouncing while running. How did it work for you?
Still like them? I had to put lock laces on since the factory laces kept coming loose. Also seems impossible to get a reliably snug fit on both feet consistently every run. One heel or the other feels loose. Super cushy but I’m about ready to turn them into pricey shelf ornaments for the constant minor aggravations. Wish the speedcross came in a 6mm drop.
I do still like them. But I do have the same complaints as you do. Laces 😢 loose, and I have to tie them down twice, or they come loose after a mile or so. Great foe my last two ultras but after my next one I'll probably try to find another ultra shoe from saucony that will work for me.
nice! What time of year was this?
I think it was early June. Appreciate ya!
It looks like Sivan beat you ❤❤❤
Of course she did! She's so fast!
This was fun ❤. Except for the trees. Blessings MJ
Awww, MJ! Thank you for the kind words. Sending you my best! ❤

Exactly my thoughts!
Well done brother! We are counting down the days before I get my first opportunity to do this.

Great running 🏃♂️
And you were one of those finishers as always, Cory! You two are amazing?❤
I love it! Sivan, you were so surprised Cory was turning with you! Your hubby she loves you!❤
"Are you going to be able to run that slow?" LOL! That was a fun surprise. Well done you two! BTW, you owe her a new handheld water bottle.
Amazing work Sivani!!!
Congratulations, Sivan!!! Marathon Finisher!! 🏃♀️
🔥 ❤️ COLFAX MARATHON!!
I am so proud of my wife and all the other 2024 Denver Colfax Marathon Finishers!!!
Cory - can you tell what shoes your wearing?
These were the salomon sense ride 4.
Great video!👍 Im looking to buy this belt and want to make sure I get the right size. Did you measure your waist to get the best fit, as Salomon suggested? You've gone for "Small". What size is your waist?
I appreciate you checking out the video! I did measure. I have a 29 inch waist, but I got my hips from my momma. Lol. I usually wear a size 30 pant or shorts so the small fit me very nicely. Nice and snug, but in a good way. Hope this helps!
Or third
Or second
I’m here to stop anyone from saying first
You get them all! 😂
Live and work in Frisco, and I've done the Ten Mile trail, but never done Peak One. Can't wait, thanks for the vid and the motivation.
Thanks, Tim! You're going to love the views from the top when you go! Hope to do the entire ten mile range this summer at some point!

Out in Fruita! Loved these trails!
this might be a dumb question. do they have moguls ?
Not a dumb question at all. Did not see one when we were there. They loooooove the groomers.
How long it took you guys?
A little under 7 hours
Great stuff! I make at least two trips a year to Fruita, primarily to hit up The Hot Tomato - pizza! Grand Junction, CO National Monument…all great trails
Appreciate you! Think I'll have to head back out that way and dabble in some more trails and give these ones a go.
Way to go Cory! Beautiful views! ❤
Appreciate you, Jane! Thanks for tuning in. Hope you have some views like these coming your way real soon!
Great job brotha! Avery says you did a great job and this is her favorite video of you!
If she approved, then you know it's a good one 😊 Thanks, Joey!
Another great video! The sun rise looked amazing! Looks like it was worth the heat!
Man, it was a good time. Painful, but fun, lol. Thanks for watching!
First race if the season and IT WAS EPIC! What races do you all have planned for the season!?
