All the stats are taken from AoE4world -> aoe4world.com/ You just search for your in game name and it will show a record of all your matches. If you have your match history in the game visible you can see the summary of each match with breakdowns of all the information. I use it all the time

  Hey man, just discovered your channel. I know you've got just a few subs right now (69 as of this comment... nice), but just want you to know you're doing a great job with these casts! Keep it up and I hope your channel grows! Just a suggestion, try to get some games of known top players like Beasty, Corvinus, Kiljardi, etc. It'll drive more viewers here. Also, you do a great job explaining WHY someone is doing something instead of simply describing what's happening on screen (which is a trap a lot of casters fall into). Please keep doing that!   Cheers. I think a little nerf wouldn't be so bad because it's really easy to pull off and pretty hard to defend against. The main problem in my case is my terrible gameplay and not the civ balance lol XD

  Well played. Since I play the Ayyubids a bit, I think in the shoes of the enemy, I would be looking to lock you in your base while I boom and go for resources outside. Since Bayz has very strong late game, what you could have done here is possibly fight under your TC while you age up and mass up. No point in taking those fights where you kept losing your horsemen and long bows. You could have used your horsemen to harass him instead to disrupt his boom. A fast castle would generally be classified as a trutle strat to get a tech advantage and go out on the map from there, so when Ayyubid ages up, the want to go out on the map, ie. boom. An agreesion kills a boom. So when he was turtling, ie, preparing for fast castle, you should have massed up a lot of units and put a lot of pressure on him. Pretty much sit on his gold so that even if he ages up, he won't have the gold to get the 3rd age tech or produce gold heavy units. The play style triagle is probably something I would love to have a discussion about with you sometime.

  Thanks for your comment. I completely agree that I could have fought under the TC and then massed up castle units and upgrades and pushed out, but sometimes I don't like that kind of long drawn out game, which is usually becomes, so I would rather quit. But what you mentioned is usually my plan. Defend against the initial camel harrass, get units and push them off gold to delay age up, tech and ghulam swarm while I go castle behind ready to have castle units to push out with. Especially as Ayyubids as all about timing and their age up doesn't scale, so if I hold out the initial point, it gets stronger for Byz. I just need to execute my plan better next time.

  Another thing is to keep raiding while he is trying to aggro you, this will help you stay ahead even when you lose map control due to turtling.

  Also, putting down just 1 towner in the front of your base forces him to build a ram delaying his push and giving you more time to make those varangian guards or knights which the longbow can do nothing against, but don't fight away from your TC, you lose the advantage of defense plus he can just kite and kill your units.

  When under aggression, turtle up, put towers, make army and fight under ur TC. Tutle until you age up, start making age 3 army and push them back. The play style triangle is a good way to figure out your game plan. I have recently started paying attention to it because even I most of the times don't have a plan.

  All very good tips and much appreciated. This season is the first one I have managed to play a decent number of games, so I am slowly figuring out how to handle these kinds of situations. Defending and fighting it out while being pushed is still a work in progress for me, but after seeing it back I definitely think I could have held out and pushed back again.

  Cheers, def still a lot to learn, but it worked out in the end. Completely agree about floating resources and the age up. I'm trying to work on better macro and spending but sometimes my brain stops 😂. I haven't done that kind of fast castle much before so the macro and split wasn't quite right to get the production ready for castle, but always something to learn for next time 💪🏻📈
