@@t.shonoiki563 I don't think the truck is meant for long distance driving, Damien has other cars that are much better suited for that. It's probably more of a "bring stuff from the hardware store and haul trash to the tip" vehicle, so that kind of mileage should be plenty.

Oh boi, the hydraulic lines all look like they're going to blow next 👀 You're going to be goooooooood friends with the hydraulic shop. The hydraulic guy probably already bought a big box of BSP fittings 🤣 Considering it's not entirely unlikely that in fact another hose will blow, I would recommend you to buy BSP caps and plugs. Then you can close off the hydraulic system when the hose is removed, so no dirt and water can enter.

Awesome project Damien! I was hanging out to see this one, I think there's a lot of potential for these types of vehicles, I'd like to do something similar on mine. I have a VW Amarok with dual rear axles (it has six wheels) giving me a very long flat bed, I could literally fit two of these battery packs under the bed and I'd be willing to bet the frame rails are wide enough for the battery to fit between them. Good luck with this project and please keep us updated. 😁
