    I really feel for you, I am caring for my partner and I have bipolar, we also have a child together. I suspect my partner has schizophrenia but she refuses to believe it, I am really struggling.

    This was heart breaking to hear my friend is schizophrenic and homeless but she is one of the sweetest and most loving people I've ever met i love her to death... kindness and love can go a long way stop hating and start accepting!!!!

    That was heart felt. I used to have this idea of crazy people and you know what it was just a stereotype. People with mental disorders and some of the most open and out going people. Plus most of the big names in intelligence had mental issues.

    wake up people ! I know western people believe in a material that's why gradually it became the devil play ground. doctors says a chemical imbalance, split personality cause of early childhood trauma then only gives temporally solutions which is a medicine. Don't u ever asking yourself where the voice comes from? don't u get it the voices is belong to devil ? i have question did you ever try praying hard seeking holly sprit a guidance bowing down to the kingdom of the most high(God) and the son(Jesus) every time? try it u will be set free ! remember when you start praying the voices will increases it's attack more than ever because the devil knows his enemy don't ever give up keep praying read Bible do holly stuff . I'm one of you guys back 16 years ago now I'm a free

    I just googled the systemfluid flag, and I almost cried. I am part of a traumagenic system, and to know that there is something that describes our experience is so beautiful to know. We always used different terms for different alters, and genderfluid for us as a collective, but this describes us so much better. Thank you for making this flag, and giving us this space to be.

    It's at it's most difficult when you are the focus of that person's paranoia. I support my friend who has schizoaffective disorder and I try never to contradict or dismiss her experiences, but every now and again suddenly with FURIOUS anger she will accuse me of psychically attacking her in the most horrific ways. Nothing could be further from the truth, but if I say nothing she assumes I'm guilty, if I deny it meekly she says I'm lying, and if I deny it strongly she gets even more angry. It's a no-win situation. I usually just tell her I haven't and would never harm her, as calmly and caringly as I can, knowing she will continue to be angry and believe her experiences, but at least I've given her some love. Sometimes then the next day she's back to normal and at least I haven't made it worse by pushing her away. Maybe on some level she felt the love.

    This is great thanks very much. And of course it's an very important to have these statements about negations and what not to do. It of course begs the question what do you say instead?

  • @DHorse
    @DHorse Жыл бұрын

    Yes that is dismissive. I think it's an issue of not knowing what to say. I think an appropriate answer would be that everything is in your head. All of your perceptions reside in your head. Reality is in your head too. It's a huge subject in philosophy.

    quit the caffeine and get some magnesium, the medical community don't recognise caffeine being the reason for a huge portion of mental health, theres lots of information on the internet and so many clinical sub terms for things which are one and the same but maybe at different levels or degrees, caffeine caffeine caffeine...

    Treat them with respect. Treat them as someone who needs our attention and support. Never tell them that he has a mental problem unless he admits himself. An empathetic understanding of his situation and treating him like a normal person will greatly help. Do not ignore them or underestimate them since they have a very fragile self-esteem. Be sensitive to their needs and pay attention when they say something.

    Being and not-being, order and disorder, life and death, light and darkness, masculine and feminine, dry and wet, hot and cold, active and passive, life and death, for example, are mutually arising, interdependent, and complementary aspects of one and the same process. Life contains the seed of death; death the Fertile energizing seed of life.
