  The dub imo is funnier. They are still fighting who’s right but Ikkaku has a funny line calling Ichigo all brawn but no brains. Less about language skills and more an overall intelligence insult. Ichigo’s running away line is different. He says I’m never fighting you again, you’re crazy…

  It is really tru that Ichigo' s skills and power are fluctuating. First, he blocked Ikaku using two hands while Ikakau was using one hand. Second , he was unable to react to the sword swing of Kenpachi. And suddenly, he was able swap with Ikaku and ran away . Even , Yachiru noticed him when he was already far away.

  this why watching anime orginally in japanese is the best. The voice acting is phenomenal. Dubbed in english just kills all the vibe and soul for me.

  I love how after Zaraki cuts Ichigo's bokken, we see Ichigo simply *start to process what's happening* We don't see an actual facial reaction, the next time we see him after Zaraki's attack, he's already running in the most hysterical way possible Zaraki's distraught reaction is also comedically perfect too
