please practice enunciating. femininity, not feminidy. i like the information you present but I've noticed across several videos you bumble clumsily through larger words to the point that it's not understandable. slow down, use multiple takes when necessary.

I never sensed authenticity with Carrie's character. She tried to come across as an open minded cool girl but acted insecure and judgy so often She curates her persona as if she was wild Samantha but secretly beats herself up for not being a Stepford Charlotte...

Mad Men was overly reductive when they did the “every woman is either a Jackie or a Marilyn” scene-however, in this instance I think that love triangle very much informs both the aesthetic and the writing of the Natasha/Big/Carrie triangle.

what a well rounded thoroughly explained banger I'd suggest 2003's thirteen and 1999's Jawbreaker, both are films that use fashion as a propeller to the main plot. Using the main character's style change through out to reflect the characters mental state, 2 very different situational premises with relatability even in there extremes (even now being a woman watching both the sense of "yup I get it" has continued), both coming of age girlhood tales as well!

It’s a TV show. The audience wanted Carrie & Big to be together so writer had to come up with the reason. In real life, someone like Big won’t choose Carrie ( took him to decide 19 years) over Natasha (5 months)

The imitation can show as both trying to fit into conformity, or a lack of identity. When someone observes the aesthetics of what brings up another, they will try to intimate it to bring up their own confidence, or intentionally mock it since there can sometimes be a form of "competition" w another. Fashion is a form of art meant to embrace and empower ourselves instead looking for the validation of others through group think.

She is the opposite of Carrie. First thing to come to mind is that she represents accountability. Especially because Carrie was hellbent on receiving forgiveness from her, and rightfully so wasn't given.

Carries is garbage scum character . Not a role model character to look up to honestly and the most selfish and shitty friend. What kind of person asks her friends to help pay for their apartment . Grow up and get a side job if you need too on top of your dream job to be able to afford your designer brand names . Stop spending beyond your means too dumbass. This behavior is not sexy and we need stop celebrating irresponsible characters. No Carrie your not an incredible intelligent woman. Your a shit woman of a character. Also a total homewrecker which makes you a scum person too and the most toxic character.
