  I saw the Mavericks LIVE for their Trampoline Tour & they were in the middle of a triple bill at the Calgary Saddledome. Charlie Major was up first & Tim McGraw was the headliner but personally I think the Mavericks STOLE the show. They were AMAZING!! Raul Malo does a great version of Roy Orbison's Crying...Raul's father was an opera singer & that's kind of where he got his pipes from, so to speak.

  It’s quite fascinating the way Lionel Richie approaches these duets. It’s like vocal gymnastics. He challenges the artists to bring it on! He is so in his element, relaxed and just plain cool.

  I've loved this classic piece of Soul from Lionel's days with the Commodores. But wow, hearing him & Tim pull this out of the bag was cold shiver good. You could actually feel those Bro Sparks fly & Lionel was getting those same cold shivers I was. Too good to trot ❤😂😊

  Met him on an a late night flight to Jacksonville. Plane was mostly empty but he was next to us. Couple beers and good talks. Miss this guy.
