I thought it was the most easiest RC to drive as it behaved just like you'd expect you're real life vehicles to behave with perfect amount of grip slip ratio that was forced down a little because of those silly flexible BFGoodrich tires that should have been pressurised instead of foamed.. Personally I think the wheels should have been at least 3 times heavier than they were, and yes what you said, the evil thing called Sway-Bar to combat the torque twist even though the torque twist is it's character that's fun to throw around leaving tire marks every where, yeah no sway bar, master your throttle / brake control instead of making it easier to be a lazy driver who needs to rely on a sway bar to make it easier.. Making the RC heavier instead of the normal lighter actually made it a lot better.. Stop thinking that lighter is better.. Sure lighter will bounce of human legs instead of chopping them off just below the knees like the heavier RC might be capable of but that's the Catch 22, Damned if you do and damned if you don't.. Your testing could be 100 times more thorough than MythBusters were, I thought they were very sloppy with their standards. I feel bad, Please forgive me Master Kyosho, Yeti isn't better, it's Special like a retarded stump.. Unique

I'm designing a rubber band plane to give out to my nieces and nephews using a laser cutter- much more simple than this but I need to understand how to balance the plane initially- it'll take a lot of revisions no doubt to get it all right but I think this Tutorial will help me minimize how much material I waste in the design process. Thanks for this straight to the point video! I'll sub this :D

2024 here, Anybody have a fix for a blinking green light on the AUDIO box? No sound, everything hooked up right, I'd love to hear this unit again, and of course if you put into oogle "blinking green oba" every article is about the esc and not the audio unit

I messed with the Main Motor Proportional Mix Trimming Pot and it seems like that's when I stared having this problem . What's your opinion ?

Hi Gerry! Would you happen to anything about up-scaling a model aircraft to a full scale version, that one could climb aboard and fly? I want to design and build my own wing-in-ground effect craft. I think I could muddle past creating a working prototype model, but would the aerodynamic characteristics be the same for a full-sized version ? I'm curious that perhaps the air molecules act upon a small plane differently than they do a large plane. Perhaps this is why you see a B-52 model plane with a 4' wingspan, leap off the ground after only a 10' take off roll. Let me know your thoughts. I'm dying to learn more from someone who knows more that I do. Thanks! Dan

I have bought myself some flux. About the solder you use, should it contain any flux at all? I can locate only "rosin core", which apparentky also contains flux. I mainly solder thin brass rods (for slot cars frsmes). I've found 60/40 but no 50/50 and I want t get the ingredients right.

Honestly the most unresponsive car I've ever owned. They changed the way the ESC works. It detects the cars movement and will not allow you to lock the brakes up or change direction suddenly. The car is good at going forwards and that's it. If I let off the throttle on any kind of grade and the car rolls backwards then thats it. It will roll to the bottom of a hill or off a cliff b/c it wont apply the brakes enough to stop the car and it wont let you go forwards b/c its moving backwards... Traxxas insists the car is working as intended. They De-Tuned them b/c gears strip too quickly... That's what traxxas support said themselves... Why is traxxas the only company in the world that cant figure out reliable gears? I beat the shit out of my Dirtbike and snowmobile which have way more torque and they hold up for 10k+ miles. Yet a 5lb RC car cant make it 5 packs around my yard before stripping gears.. (slash 4x4 vxl)

I bought a TRX4m Defender and acquired a TQi trasmitter and receiver off eBay. Do I need to swap out the receiver in the TRX4m for the one I got with the TQi? I got the TQi specifically for the cruise function which is so cool.

I have been flying RC aircraft since 1970 and have always marked the CG under the thickest part of the wing at the fuselage as my starting point. I usually like my nose to end up pointing down around 5 degrees. This was done so that if you actually stalled the plane, it was easier to recover from. This technique has never failed in 53 years of flying. Some planes did require some minor variation usually by no more that 1/4 inch plus or minus.
