Looks a very beautiful spot.
We recently had our first off grid camping trip. Is always good to know that you can do 3 - 4 off grid without any power issues
Yes, it was a really good experiment. Of course, we had plenty of solar and we didn't need the heating. However, we know where we are. Ian
Hi from Australia! The farm’s a beautiful place. Thanks for video
Welcome abord :). I iahve subbed back and will have a look through your channel once I have had breakfast :)
@@MotoringMatilda Thanks. It's always interesting to see others enjoying the motor homing lifestyle
I used to go to this exact place every summer until covid hit, and then they changed it to a caravan park, so many memories
Looks great. Are the bays 2 to 5 or 1 to 4 please? Considering booking.
Number 1 is closest to the owners house. www.poolbankfarmcl.com/#section-about
Looks like a nice site
It really is Ian. We loved it here.
Superb place. They just need to keep the loo a bit cleaner. My only complaint
new to your channel and subbed. What a pretty site to be at, so peaceful. We daily vlog too, so loving all of these type of videos.
@@THErealBRITSofFlorida Thankyou so much. I will pop over and sub to your channel :)
Another lovely site. Very peaceful - and tasty fresh eggs for breakfast. Excellent video as always.
Thank for the lovely comment Dave. The eggs were fabulous :)

Thankyou, I am really pleased you enjoyed it :)
Another well done video of a special place in the UK. Great moderator and producer Ian. Ed in USA W3LUX
Many thanks Ed. Great to see you :)
Excellent review as always, yet another site to add to the list 🙂
Thankyou so much :). Ian
The walk behind ''The Shy PIg'' looks a bit ''railway'' like, I wonder if it used to be a now lost railway?
I don't think so Douggie. It's only a short walk to the gate and does not continue beyond it
Lovely site - very rustic and relaxing. Excellent video and music as always 🙂
Thanks very much. It is a really lovely place.
Great to catch up with you both at this wonderful CS… nice video Ian 👍
It was great to have your company, Richard :)
Smashing video. I was recommended Clitheroe site earlier this year when I was at Keswick. After seeing this I am going to book up for next year. Thanks
Thankyou for your kind words. It's a lovely little town. Make sure to visit the sausage shop :). Ian
Hi Ian,thanks taking us along on your trips thoroughly enjoing them we also like a peaceful cl campsite where you can relax and have some nice walks for our two elderly dog’s looking forward to your next one safe travels 👍
Thankyou so much! We had a wonderful time. From opening the door one morning to see a Sparrowhawk finishing its breakfast about 12 ft away to watching a Peregrine Falcon flying around the field. A wonderful place :). I hope you continue to enjoy the videos! Ian
Great video. Lovely place - I’ll be trying it out! Thanks for sharing. Peter
The town is lovely, especially the sausage shop ;). Hopefully the Main Street works will be finished soon. The market is superb as well
all good
We bought the same tent as you about 3 weeks ago from Attwools nr Gloucester we both struggled the first time though we managed little better than yourself so definitely a two person job.
I put it up last week at site and it took me about 3 minutes to have the main gazebo up. I may film the next erection, lol. Ian
How did you end up getting off the site? The Exit looked very tight!
It was fine for width. A few pot holes though, including one immediately after a sleeping policeman that was full of water and I didn't see! No harm done though. Ian
Looked a great site and a nice walk. More benches than the entire Morecambe promenade
@@MikeDent I suspect it gets very busy with no seats available :)
Looks really nice.
Thanks Brian. It really is. Ian
Excellent vlog and as always and very informative about the site and surrounding area👍
Many thanks :)
Lovely place. Enjoyed my visit to see you both - and Matilda of course. Glad you found the famous sausage shop 🙂
Thanks Dave, it was lovely to see you as always :)
What a great find!! Looks VERY nice indeed - and not too far away either 👍
Thanks Tom. Yes, it's a great little site and lots to do. Clitheroe is lovely of course.
Well Done Ian....... That cheered me up no end....... It's definitely a two person build! on a calm day 👱
It *literally* just pops up.
easy peasy
Is this a sequel to Carry on Camping? Not laughed so much for ages 🤣
I was somewhat hysterical myself :)
Couldn’t stop laughing. Well done. Here’s to the next time 😊
Your a Comic you lol 🤣🤣🤣
Hopefully the next time will be a little easier :)
Nice looking site I'll be putting it on my list, thanks for the video 👍
Thankyou :). It is a lovely site. Just watch the archway on the road on the way in. It's a bit tight :). Ian
Great place and wonderful company
Lovely. Glad I managed to get there and meet Stuart for the first time. Here's to the next Motoring Matilda visit. Olexy music is so relaxing :-)
Yes, he has some great music :). It was really good to have your company Dave, glad you made it :)
Excellent! You need a drone.
Lol. Thanks Tom :)
Thanks. Booked there for next weekend. Our first time at that site. Would also recommend the Bowness site.
I hope you enjoy it as much as we did. The pasties from the shop are superb! Ian
Excellent video from Jim and Kay yet again with a nice bit of history at the end, one problem when you get home you will need to buy two wheel barrows to carry your belly’s about
Hi mate. Love this vid. Your intro music was just right and you pace of delivery was great. That site looked really nice, although that entrance looked a bit tight! It's definitely going on my "to do" list though. Subscribed! 👍
Thankyou so much for a lovely comment and the sub! I noticed when editing that it looked tight. I think that is just the dash cam. It really is absolutely fine :). Ian
See you at Christmas then Ian,
Hi We were in the van next to you. Just watched your film, nicely done. Hope you enjoyed the rest of your stay, it was lovely talking to you while we were on site. We've booked to go back later in year, and booked a stay for next year. Enjoy your motorhome, Take care Steve,Kerry, Eric & Crazy Maggie
Thanks so much Steve. It was great to meet you and Maggie is wonderful :). We have already booked for Christmas by the way ;). Ian
Lovely place - so tranquil. Excellent room service. Horses to talk to as well. Excellent video as always Ian.
It truly is Dave. Looking forward to the return later in the year :)
Enjoyed the video, it looks like a lovely place. Thank you for sharing it.
Thanks Ray. We hope to go back when the trees are in leaf. It should be amazing!
Lovely place. Bet you'll be back soon. Good intro music as well 🙂
Thanks Dave. We will definitely be back. Better weather would make it an amazing place to visit. I would love to explore the history as well
Accumulate tools? Every job I do, I bring out every single tool I own - one at a time! At least, that's how it feels. Nice job!
Hahahaha, me too! Many thanks. Ian
You seem surprised that it’s smaller than the box. It would be odd if it was bigger than the box or had Tardis like qualities
I really do not like excessive packaging. That said, I suspect the boxes are used for both tog sizes. Of course, when talking to live camera, we sometimes make off the cuff remarks that would not happen in an edited video. Thanks for your comment :) Ian
Thanks Ian that was very simply explained and informative as we are considering getting these.
@@xx9587 Thankyou. We are away next week and will be trying them out fully for the first time. I will post an update then
Synthetic duvet and base. Hot hot hot. And how the hll are you going to remove all that and wash it?
Hi Peter. I can only tell you what we have found. Linda has found hers to be really good. If it was overly hot, she would hate it and she loves it. As for washing, you simply unzip the cover and put it in the wash, just like any duvet cover. The duvet is also washable. Thankyou for taking the time to comment. Ian
Very interesting, nice to actually see the place you were staying. Thank you for posting it Ian.
Glad you enjoyed it Ray. Thanks :)
Did you know there's TV hook up on the bollard?
@@DomingoDeSantaClara Yes, thankyou :). We don't really watch much live TV, so I have not look at using a hookup as yet. Thanks for your comment
We stayed here exactly two years ago in our caravan and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Seeing the snow on the tops of the mountains made it feel really cosy.
@@bernardlison2311 YEs. We were a little disappointed that the forecasted snow didn't arrive but it was wonderful nonetheless. We loved it so much we are back again next week :). Ian
Looking very smart! Do the lights pair via Bluetooth to your phone, to change the colours?
No, it's actually wifi. Thanks for the comment
That does look pretty tranquil. Decent water table to ground an HF vertical
Indeed. It's a great place to play radio. :)
Lovely - so peaceful with great views across the Bay. Say Hi to Matilda from me.
Thank you, I will :)
