    How do you check the transmission side level

  • @TepcoCycleRepair
    @TepcoCycleRepair3 күн бұрын

    There is a check bolt just below the water pump. With the bike level oil should just drop out, BUT I wouldn't use that method, it can strip easily. Just put 700cc in and run it. Change every 9-10hrs.

    Do you have any video how to clean the tank with ease? My tank had crystals/debris due to the ethanol?

  • @TepcoCycleRepair
    @TepcoCycleRepair5 күн бұрын

    @@kylewo0 The absolute quickest way it to remove it, plug all the openings, pour a gallon of muriatic acid through the fill, cap it slosh it around, flush it out really good, dry it, and you're done. Or if you don't want to remove it, fill it with metal rescue, let it sit, drain it and you're good. Metal Rescue is good on rust but not sludge, muriatic acid will clean everything.

    @@TepcoCycleRepairhow bout preventing the issue again? Flush all gas in the tank before storing I assume? Even when starting every month or so? Yeah I might not remove that tank.. that box is a prison for that tank. But I will slosh and drain tank in place .. maybe shop vac the remain.

    I hope you can answer a question for me. I have the yamaha EF2000 IS. another video I saw had the long bolts that secure the carburetor taken off. I did that and now I am having troubles determining how far the bolts are screwed in. When I put the nut on the bolt and start tighten the nut the bolt keeps turning and working its way in. What happens is that you don't get a good seal and the bolt continues to go in where the nut has very little to thread onto. I hope I explained this that you can understand. Thanks and good video.

  • @TepcoCycleRepair
    @TepcoCycleRepair10 күн бұрын

    Sounds like you'll need to measure the length you need sticking out, then lock tite the stud in. Let it dry then install the carb. The other way would be lock tite the nut to the stud, let that dry then use it like a bolt.

  • @TepcoCycleRepair
    @TepcoCycleRepair14 күн бұрын

    @@JayValles-p1o I sent it to Energica HQ in CA. I wouldn't send it there, they just trickle charged it back to life. Still had weak cells that drained faster than the rest, shortening range and reducing power. My recommendation would be to send it to Rob at New England Energica and have them completely rebuild it. This way you'll have the full power and range of the battery.
