I was confused too at the double stitch part into the second chain. after she made the first three holes, I just chained four, turned my work and double crocheted and repeated this process. If you’re still confused, I can send a video if that will help

growing up queer in appalachia i totally relate to thinking i hated country music. as it turns out i love country and folk music, i just hate bigots and associated them in my mind bc of past experiences. not limiting myself to what interests i think i’m “supposed” to have has been huge for me. also, i don’t know if you know this, but since you mentioned ACOTAR i just wanted to let you know: sarah j maas is a zionist and also used breonna taylor’s death to promote a new book. just might be something to look into before choosing to support or promote her!

I enjoy your random chats and I'm looking forward to hearing more about your writing. I agree that it's healthy to step away from black-and-white thinking... things are rarely that cut and dried and it's great to have the courage to just like what you like, regardless of the associated stereotypes. The vest looks lovely and lightweight for Summer.

Doing the corner bit 2CH Then slip into second V with a double crochet at 12:44 confused me the most (I'm a beginner) I think that's where I messed up because my corners are looking slanted 😢 Edit: I messed because I didn't turn the project right 🧍🏻‍♀️It changed everything

I'm only about 10 minutes in and this is already helping me so much! As someone who struggles with executive dysfunction, body doubling is something I've wanted to try. I've got a friend who says he's willing to give it a shot with me, but our schedules don't tend to align perfectly for something like that. The fact I was able to get even a single piece of voiceover done without mental torture is exhilarating. Also, off topic, but seeing another woman with my body type just like anywhere is super cool and definitely makes me feel better about my body. A bit of a side effect I guess; I just don't tend to see many people who aren't either very thin or a more traditional "plus-size"
