This vid has been a life safer. Had to replace my OS wing today, took far longer than I'd hoped but it's done. Managed to get a fairly clean second hand wing, which has had that stupid bit of foam removed before being offered up 😂😂👍

Very nice video Sir about replacing the top door hinge, but all your work was unnecessary.If you study the hinge,it's in 2 parts.1 part has a pin integral with it,the part that bolts onto the door,the other part is merely an L bracket support.The nut on the bottom enables separation.ALL the wear takes place on the door section, as the frame section does NOT swivel and is merely a support..Un bolt it,just use the door half,fix it to the existing frame half and ALL your play in the hinge assembly has gone.!!

I have a question does the vw touran bamper fit on the caddy with the stock fenders
What's the details on the MK1? What's the engine plans and deck finish etc you got planned? Caddy turned out well though would like to have seen paint being applied, I always thought it would be good viable option for a van.

Just away to renew both wings on my 2004 caddy this Video is amazing with tips esp the 2 bolts at the 1/4 window was the Tape to help with alinement at the front ,, Keep up the good work

On the door hinge couldn't you separate the pin.
I could have, but I wasn’t sure where the play was. The inside piece still needed to come out!

Hey Adam, I looked for a while as the bumpers do fetch a premium. This one is off a Touran but is a direct fit!

@@nightshiftindustries going to 1st fix some wiring for lighting etc insulate, then ply line. The lining will be carpeted at some point. Trying not to rush so I can take ideas from guys like your self. Thanks for sharing 👍
