What is the material for plaster? Is it different from brick wall plaster?
It's exactly the same thing. Plaster you would use on the walls.

I soo-ooo loved that veiny vase, recycled from a ceramics blue&blue one. I still don't get how come the clay stayed on the very shiny enameled surface, without coming undone, or slipping off places. It doesn't even look like you sanded the surface. it may be the type of ADC you used?
That might be a case. I usually use DAS air dry clay. I didn't sand the surface, I put the clay straight on the shiny vase. You could always use PVA glue, which should help with holding the clay. ☺️

You can put PVA glue on the whole surface of canvas before applying the plaster. And at the end, use clear varnish in spray ☺️
