I drive an quattro and need winter tires its al about the tire but on rwd cars there is not enough weight to do like fwd or awd cars

my buddy puts 2 sand bags in his charger. pretty much the sane problems. wastes a little more gas, but it helps a lot.

Worst damn car in the snow, especially once you get 3" or more. The best part is trying to get out of a parking spot next to a car without shoveling first and it kicks sideways. I should've kept my 4x4 Expedition.

never a need for them, it snows once every three years and for a day or two maybe a week max and thats why we mess around.

Jeremy Nerstad I had snow tires on mine but there's only so much they can do with a 400 hp car that sits so low from the factory it bottoms out through car washes... You get more than 3 inches of snow and your front bumper packs full of snow and eventually gets so heavy it just spins. You are also limited to using chains or studded tires depending on what state you live in... Just when you thought you knew it all...

where we live we have snow maybe once in every three years and it doesn't stay for more than a week, mostly three days or even less. so buying snow tires is pointless especially when we have four wheel drive cars and use them for times like this. we just had some fun and needed to rearange cars.
