Tom your patches are soooo good.. have inspired me in many wayz. Any chance of a video where you show us the process of creating sounds (organ.ep.bass.synth) would be amaaazeballs !!
@TomAnsinkVideos2 күн бұрын
Hello, thanks for your comments. Some asked me for a video how to before, the problem is that i go a lot by ear, one thing are the fundamentals how a synth or an FM synth works. This you find on YT better than I can explain, but from there I go lot by ear, I only think how does the form or shape overtime has to be (attack decay release ect.) and 2 the tone (Saw sine square modulated operator´s ect.) and also the effect on dynamics on that and where on the keybed (tracking). It a bit like how to make a song, it's easier to explain chords than how to make a song because it comes down to your taste.

All these sounds are so much grander than what you'd expect from a small FM synth like it. Gosh I need to see if I can do this stuff on my Electone HS-6...

This shows right here…. Yeah, the presets on a synth are fine in a lot of cases but, if you know what you’re doing or at least noodle around…. You could make a great sound a $1000 synth would have for a preset with a synth at a fraction of the cost. It also helps that he can play his ass off on the keys. 👍

Sorry guys , party pooper here.... After having a Hammond and a mighty 147 in my back for 50 yrs. I picked up a Hammond XK-1, and the internal Leslie is deadly accurate plus the tweaks are limitless ...!!! Right off the bat you get to pick which Leslie model you want , 122, 147, 910, + more ! Next, totally customizable ramp up and ramp down times .... Mic settings .... Crossover points ...??? Even a sort of parametric EQ to dial in exactly what you want the horn / woofer to sound like . And use the right stuff to play it through. If Im grinding with a band, 2 old refurb BFI'S with 18' and horns.... pushed with 400 watt QSC .... AND 2 refurb Peavey 300 keyboard mixer amps .... Christ on a Stereo hookup its Devastatingly good ...! But through headphones just as well ... The DSP Chip on the XK-1, came out after the XK-3 was launched..... it has the better Leslie / Chorus / Vibrato.... Check out Tony Monaco plays the Hammond XK-1.... makes the vent seem like its got training wheels on ...Lol....😊
