It was just a build I theory crafted that I thought I'd make a video on for new players and stuff. I don't actually run this and didn't have every skill listed in the MortalData build. It's just a video showing what it can do in simple terms for new players.

I just realized I did lol. It's sort of a cookie cutter build for it. You can have taming and just do pets. Or no taming and buy pets and have rituals if your pet(s) die. Then there's other magic stuff you can pick and choose like Elementalism.

You're right, I forgot to include that in the description. You can drop Defensive Stance to 33 to max out Ecumenical to cast Earthquake. There's just a lot of variations of the build with all the different magic school scalings with preferences.

It's called Worg Rider and we had came up with it well before the patch hit. I have about 20 125's in the stable and we have a worg response team at pound town lol Also this is just the build you already had you just decided to ride a worg with it hehehe

yeah, but overall still really fun to play. I didn't show it's entire potential with what it can do, and then wolf armor isn't even in the game yet so it can still be better. But yeah, definitely a fun build for new players

I just really wished that the wolves wouldnt be so slow. 760 at 3 speed is sadly very painful... Being that low to the ground makes for amazing MC gameplay tho :D Also how fast is a risen Direwolf vs a tamed one?

Yeah, all these spells will be in MO2! Some might be reworked a tiny bit though, like the Protectors since they said they're reworking the Necro Pet system. So they might change something with Elementalism too.

The spell casting charge up/cast sounds like a FTL Engine entering a wormhole or some like that - hopefully that sound is changed for MO2 oO

It was a new sound to me, whenever it was released. I like how it sounds. It's definitely going to be changed though. Since Ecumenical and Spiritism so far aren't the same as MO1's sound effects.

Why do the spells in MO1 look so much better than in MO2 so far lol. Basically all you see in MO2 is setting up the spell but then its just a whole lot of nothing you throw at enemies. This Magic System here actually looks freaking insane. Like, casting away rain clouds where you can actually see the difference in the sky ? thats totally insane lol.

I really think they'll reanimate the spells and stuff for MO2. They did it in MO1. All the Ecumenical spells you see right now in MO2 used to look similar to how MO1's Ecumenical Spells looked, but they have way better animations and actual travel to target animations after the rework for it. I think they were just crunched for time and got it just working, just not in depth and in detail sadly.

All that's in MO II right now is Ecumenical and Spiritism. They aren't going to be as flashy as the other schools. When Elementalism and Necromancy comes out in MO II, it's going to be a lot better in terms of how visual effects and animations.

Magic was more in depth in MO1. I'm sure over time if the new game does well we will see it brought to a higher level. It is no easy task to get a full Spiritism Magic spell book. Only a hand full of player ever achieved it.

Why does it look like most of the spells didn't manage to kill the skelys? These should be the basic ones from graveyard right?

Elementalism was the last magic school they added. So it was never really adjusted to be correct I guess with mobs. And it was entirely based on the caster's intelligence and not the target's psyche. So all the spells do like basic damage. The first one, crushing rock, is actually surprisingly weak. But dismounts mounted players and damages structures. I think the skeletons have around 100 hp or so. And some of the highest damage ones, like the Water Rift only do around 60 damage. And the Earth Shiver does like 30-40 I believe. But any other spell with Ecumenical, Spiritism, or Necromancy basically one shots skeletons since, again, this magic's damage is based only around intelligence of the caster. Fulmination one hits, Mental Projectile one hits, Death Hand one hits. I think the only Elementalism spell that one hits is Glacier Shard, cuz it does 100+ damage with AoE. It's mainly a PvP magic school in MO1. I'm hoping this changes in MO2.

It needs it honestly. Imagine a 50v50 where they can pump up giant screen filling/sky altering spells. You need the long cast time and a high mana incursion for the big boi spells, it makes them actually significant.

Oh look at that spells that travel to the target fulmination has a cloud effect that indicates you've been hit. Earth Quake has a cool spike rock effect. Flame strike has a really nice fiery plume. Man what happened in MO2 Ecumenical spells in MO1 are way better looking. Lazy ass Star Vault.

The spells used to be lower quality in MO1 also, so I'm assuming they'll reanimate the spells and sounds for MO2 Ecumenical after they get more content out.

And I'd hate to do the video without all the spells. :/ I've tried asking around my old friends who played it and I don't think anyone has them or any idea where to get them.

I said in the description I didn't include them. Mostly cuz I don't use Animal Magnetism, but also cuz they're more just pets and the spell animations etc. aren't anything special (to my knowledge) besides the actual ritual stone and summoning part.
