  Not only that, they wanted to test their friendship. Because if they really cared about Izuku, or at least if they pay attention to the signs, they should have been able to save him from himself. Yet, only Hitoshi seemed to know about this but he couldn’t do much about the situation...it’s even possible he know they talked about him but didn’t know about the whole situation or that he already discussed with Izuku but couldn’t stop him from jumping. Whatever the case, it’s clear the hero part failed the test and that cost Izuku’s life.

  This is exactly why "cat scratches" are the universal answer for this. You don´t have a cat? So what, there´s always at least one cat walking around the street. And kids will never pick up on the lie (unless you go deep and lot, then may God help you with finding a good excuse).

  Cat scratches do work. Not around parents, but at school no one gives a second thought. No matter how many there are- One time my leg was FULL of them, changed into shorts for gym. Passed them off as cat scratches! It works for kids at least. 🙃 I go deep on my thighs, which are never visible.
