How's the magsafe wireless charging? Does it charge correctly and doesn't connect/disconnect?

The Thinborne magnets are a little too low. So not 100%. Pretty close though. Works most of the time for me. Sometimes there's a delay before magsafe starts charging. A few times it didn't charge at all. It does seem to get a little warmer charging since it's not perfectly aligned. It charged better in my Fold 6 Torras case vs. my Thinborne.
Is the front screen protector wobbly on the sides, especially on the left side? Also I noticed the side nudge isn't too big or it actually looks flat?

My concern is the service in the US. I have read it does not support all of our frequencies. What carrier do you have and how is the reception?

hey man, good work! one thing I would like to know about the phone, how's the proximity sensor and pocket mode? I mean, I have an xperia 1 iv and I had such a nightmarish experience with it due to to some issue with the proximity sensor and pocket mode. I keep the double tap to wake screen option on (always did with my previous phones) because I actually use it but it seems that because of that the phone's screen always activates in my pocket and the ghost touches are messing up with the phone. I always find it with bluetooth off or on airplane mode, sometimes in the emergency calls menu etc. I actually managed to convince the seller that the phone has an issue (after I had it for about 4 times in the authorized repair shop, them telling me that the phone has no issues) and will return it on a warranty claim and get a full refund. I used the phone for about a year and a half and I do love many things about it, that is why I would get the new one, if it does not have issues with the pocket mode and proximity sensor. brace for Sony Xperia Pro C will put xiaomi 14 ultra to shame. I don't like how sony make mark 1 series it is such a crap. So much better to wait for Pro C which has superior 1 inch camera sensor.

The battery is not good. It uses a 1080p sceeen. Any phone with a lower resolution screen will have good battery life

Have been using the Camera Pro and it's work fantastically. Have sold my X100Ultra. Good cameras, but Sony stock android is a better package.

I have it and can confirm it's too soft at the long end it's borderline unusable. Both photos and videos. Miles behind the competition (my S24U takes waaaaay crispier shots at any focal length except maybe the 24mm, even when the Sammy zooms digitally and the Sony optically). I guess return it is.

Call quality on LTE and 5G is excellent for me. This might be because I'm located in a EEA/EFTA state (that's like EU but not) but I don't get call screening on my 1 VI.

What specifically is it about the Sony that you find irresistible surely getting a older model is going to give you the same main lens and Sony system that you love
It feels like something a Samurai would use. It's this trad. A lot of my friends say it's an old man's phone, and I like that kind of aesthetics. This recent one is ever so slightly wider than the previous gen, and that makes it almost controverial and rebellious in Xperia circles. If you ignore all the noise, it basically means that all of the content fits better on the screen now, and it's much more comfortable to text and type. Also the battery is unreal.
