Wow welcome back Snowy it's been awhile :) i have been sad for the past 3 weeks because my dog passed away on the 30th of June she gave up on life she would not eat if she did she would puke it up she would only drink water but sometimes she would puke that up as well or worse pee all over the floor she also had eye snots that I cleaned out every day she also lost a lot of weight we didn't bother taking her to a vet because we knew they would have said what we already knew and that was that she was dying :( she was only 9 years old a brown and white mini corgi named Penny i will name a horse in her honor once i am able to get sso the dark brown and white curly horse is Penny available as a jorvik name? it not i can do Coppercoin aka Penny i really miss her but i know she is no longer suffering my dad took her outside to do her business one last time as soon he brought her inside and took her harness off she collapsed right then and there i was devastated abd heartbroken i still am it might be awhile before i get another pet :( i still have my cockatiel Glory she is a normal grey cinnamon pearl mix which means she has brownish grey feathers with yellow dots under her wings and she also has a yellow star on her face too if i had to choose a horse to name after her i would do the dapple grey and white jorvik starter pony i would name it Little Bird aka Glory always have a great day Snowy please try to make new videos more often i love watching them so much :) also here is a new joke Why are seagulls always by the sea? hey vio! i know this is a little unrelated but how do you prevent lag whilst using reshade? i always have so much lag when i turn on my presets :< without reshade, my game is still max 35fps even though i have a great quality computer T_T

Hi! I'm not super knowledgeable about computers but I think it really depends on how strong your graphics card is for games. I use windows and I can also select the GPU for the game to use to make sure SSO is running on my graphics card. If that still doesn't work for you, then you might want to try reducing the graphics quality or turning off shadows in SSO, and maybe not running other programs while playing.

I’ll go back to my computer and see if my depth buffers will now work if i turn off a couple of graphical settings ^^ as always, have a great rest of your day! :-D

So... I realised when I was updating my list of horses that have not completed both their championships that Sandclover was actually number 16 instead of 15. I misread the list when filming and editing, and did not notice until then. 😅 Oh well, lucky Sandclover then~ :P He shall have a chance to do his championship next if he gets the most votes! :D

Hi! So I've been suggested that I should explain the depth buffers better as it's not clear from the video why it's working well on my computer. The effect selected to see if Reshade's depth buffers are working is called 'DisplayDepth' (you can find it in the 'Home' tab of Reshade once the game has started). Once selected and when Reshade is set up correctly, you'll see something similar to what is shown in this video (at time 0:51). The left side with the bright colors shows how Reshade reads the geometric shapes of the game. And the right side shows how Reshade reads the depth of the game (darker shade when closer and lighter for farther distances). If you don't see this, then it means either Reshade was not set up correctly, or your graphics card isn't able to support that version of Reshade. I'm not super knowledgeable with Reshade, so I really recommend viewing Jess Northwood's tutorial video if you want to understand better! Thanks a lot for this, especially the comparison of presets with and without blur. 😊 I'm surprised that so many people seem to like presets with lots of blur in the background. I don't like that at all. I like the Blossom, Deep Woods (not scary at all for me btw), Passe Partout (it's pronounced roughly like "puss par-too" in English, with the stress on the last syllable) and Peace presets. 0:51 No, I cannot see here that the depth buffers work well on your computer. 🙂 You should explain what we are seeing in the video, I think. Why is the right part black and white? Why is the left part in strange colours? And, most importantly, what do depth buffers do and how do they relate to what we see in the video? Keep in mind that this kind of video is probably also watched by people who do not know much yet about ReShade.

I think the presets with blur look really great for close up photos, but if I'm playing the game then I definitely prefer not to have it so I can see where I'm going. :') Ooh, thank you for the pronunciation tutorial! I think I was about to say 'pass eh part out' in the video but knew that it was most likely wrong. Ahh yes, thanks for the advice! It did cross my mind that it might be confusing, but I guess it passed in my thoughts that the depth buffers are explained in the tutorial video by Jess Northwood, so I didn't talk much about it. Though in hindsight now, I should have mentioned that viewers can refer to the tutorial video for more information~ I'll leave a pinned comment on this video with a brief explanation! :D

As Rebecca said, it doesn't work on a mac sadly, but I did a quick search on google and I see that there might be some alternatives to Reshade for the mac! I can't recommend any as I don't use a mac, but if you search 'Reshade alternatives for mac', you should be able to get more information. Hope you find something that you like! <3

Hi! So I've been suggested that I should explain the depth buffers better as it's not clear from the video why it's working well on my computer. The effect selected to see if Reshade's depth buffers are working is called 'DisplayDepth' (you can find it in the 'Home' tab of Reshade once the game has started). Once selected and when Reshade is set up correctly, you'll see something similar to what is shown in this video (at time 0:51). The left side with the bright colors shows how Reshade reads the geometric shapes of the game. And the right side shows how Reshade reads the depth of the game (darker shade when closer and lighter for farther distances). If you don't see this, then it means either Reshade was not set up correctly, or your graphics card isn't able to support that version of Reshade. I'm not super knowledgeable with Reshade, so I really recommend viewing Jess Northwood's tutorial video if you want to understand better! Thanks a lot for this, especially the comparison of presets with and without blur. 😊 I'm surprised that so many people seem to like presets with lots of blur in the background. I don't like that at all. I like the Blossom, Deep Woods (not scary at all for me btw), Passe Partout (it's pronounced roughly like "puss par-too" in English, with the stress on the last syllable) and Peace presets. 0:51 No, I cannot see here that the depth buffers work well on your computer. 🙂 You should explain what we are seeing in the video, I think. Why is the right part black and white? Why is the left part in strange colours? And, most importantly, what do depth buffers do and how do they relate to what we see in the video? Keep in mind that this kind of video is probably also watched by people who do not know much yet about ReShade.
Same here actually! I think the presets with blur look really great for close up photos, but if I'm playing the game then I definitely prefer not to have it so I can see where I'm going. :') Ooh, thank you for the pronunciation tutorial! I think I was about to say 'pass eh part out' in the video but knew that it was most likely wrong. Ahh yes, thanks for the advice! It did cross my mind that it might be confusing, but I guess it passed in my thoughts that the depth buffers are explained in the tutorial video by Jess Northwood, so I didn't talk much about it. Though in hindsight now, I should have mentioned that viewers can refer to the tutorial video for more information~ I'll leave a pinned comment on this video with a brief explanation! :D

Ok the presets without shaders actually look so nice! Im trying to experiment with different settings and hopefully I can make the perfect preset for myself!
I'm guessing you mean without the blur, I love them so much, and it helps with the fps and help us see where we're going~ Ooh have fun experimenting, and it will feel so satisfying if you manage to make one for yourself!

As Rebecca said, it doesn't work on a mac sadly, but I did a quick search on google and I see that there might be some alternatives to Reshade for the mac! I can't recommend any as I don't use a mac, but if you search 'Reshade alternatives for mac', you should be able to get more information. Hope you find something that you like! <3
