  Have you ever considered using PVC instead of aluminum. I make kayak rudders out of PVC because aluminum bends and stays bent. PVC flexes and goes back. I'm sure it can be ordered in sheet form but I just split PVC pipes then heat them flat between boards.

  The flexion when you have articulating pivot points binds the mechanism and generally snaps the PVC. Also I'm trying to avoid flexion all together with these. Gravity is my enemy. The weight of the wings will want to pull and twist the wing down in this configuration. PVC would let it and then bind the mechanism.

  I'm gonna be ordering the kit very soon ..but I haven't seen any videos on how to properly hook the feathers on I see from this video how to hook those on but how to go by filling in those gaps..adding the real feathers and so on ..THAT would be so helpful I'm just getting into cosplay ..
