    The MKV Supra is a goat. IYKYK. Objectively speaking, the MKIV does not even compare in any performance metric to the MKV.

  • @BarkLife

    It's hard to compare spec to spec on a car that's 30+ years apart. However, there are certain things having driven both and owned a mkiv for 16 years that the mkiv has over the mk5. With that being said, there are some cool things to the mkv, but at the end of the day, I would still own a mkiv over the mkv. I own neither as I sold my mk4 last year.

    I initially was snooping Amazon for a drop in filter replacement in my QX80 but what I had ended up doing was ordering a 3.5" maf tube for the Nissan gtr. I then ordered a 3.5" aluminum pipe and put a cone air filter on the end. I kept the factory slip tube from the throttle body and just deleted the airbox. It's not much a difference than a drop in filter but I'd like to think so with the massive conehead 😅

    @@BarkLife true that! It explains why this was my 1st modification to the truck but the engine can only pump so much air. I think for the money, Id save it and put it elsewhere like in a handheld flash tuner or even a piggyback ecu from Uprev would be well worth it! Then convert to run E85 fuel for more timing and leaner a/f ratio but thats just my two cents.

  • @BarkLife
    @BarkLife2 ай бұрын

    @frankmains5698 I grew up living in the most rural areas. Just like a cars gas tank, if you have long periods before a refill, the tank has a chance to build condensation. If a station isn't heavily used, the more water that builds up. Not to mention, modern fuels are not as stable.

  • @frankmains5698
    @frankmains56982 ай бұрын

    @@BarkLife u prejudicial me replys ditto to City cars that rarely get driven excessively, they sit around with their gas tanks confensating water. Ditto the gas stations in Chicago ghettos that have highest prices in USA, where one is unwilling to spend the $, or the fact the area is so crime ridden that your afraid to be in public, hence the bars on the window and doors in. Addition to the fact that there is a sign on the locked gate that says closed, went to score be rite back. Does the gas sit around in those tanks subject to modern instabilities? So, what's very rural to you West Texas, new Mexico Indian reservation, 40 Miles East or West of Bangor Wisconsin?

  • @BarkLife
    @BarkLife2 ай бұрын

    @frankmains5698 nw Montana/Yaak. I grew up with wood fire heat/cooking and propane fridge. The average populations in the towns I'm talking about are sub 500 people and 40 miles from the next nearest "town". Most people who have equipment or toys have their own 500 gallon above ground fuel tanks. Getting gas at an off the beaten path does have a higher likelihood of bad gas, especially since diesel is the bulk seller in these areas. Simply a sitting/volume of sitting gas issue. How often are fuel deliveries, etc. Any hoot not looking to argue my point is simply gas prices are out of hand. I enjoy lower prices then most areas due to my geographic/polical location not over taxing/regulating. Have a good day

  • @Mike28625

    I live in a rural area. Between the commuters, lawn mowers, farmers, and kids on dirt bikes, there's no way gas ever just sits around at a small station here. Gas is between 2.97 and 3.15. i think you're gauge is messed up. Do you really believe that the gas just sits there while the clerk plays banjo on the porch? That's literally dumb. Country people use gas like crazy. And it better be good or there's hell to pay if bubba gets bad fuel in his F-350.
