Have 2023 Special.. did some mods..here and there including exhaust.. bike is the best riding bike I've owned and have had many, and still have a few. Plenty of bikes have issues.. check out the KTM like the 600 Enduro's, talk about fuel pump issues.BMW RS plagued with issues also. anyway.. not a fan boy of any brand. One of my favorite bikes to ride..

Im buying a Road King. I really want chrome finish but I really like the new Special too. Im thinking about getting the Special and doing something Blasphemous and adding chrome finishes to the blacked out bike. Im thinking chrome and black heated empire grips, chrome empire timing cover, full SE chrome exhaust, chrome empire derby cover, chrome Ignition cover, chrome SE heavy breather and just a chrome extended headlight ring. Still retain alot of the blacked out elements but with a nice contrast of chrome. If it's done right it can look really good but it's a fine line between right and wrong on this so I gotta really put some thought into it to make sure it's the right blend. Do you think I can pull it off? Any ideas?? Maybe Chrome rocker boxes or is that possibly too much?

Not a good engine, terrible torque at low revs, the engine rattles like screws in a washing machine, and it was the jerkiest motorcycle I've ridden.

Had a 2001 Road King Classic in Real Teal paint. Most beautiful bike I’ve ever owned. Ended up selling it to buy my way out of a bad marriage. When it comes to getting by to why I started riding motorcycles 40+ years ago that bike will always be the king to me. I love my full dress FLHTK but I will be adding another Road King to my garage in the near future.

I don't understand why the widespread hate on Shinko tires. I've gone through 3 sets of Shinko 705's on 2 bikes and they outperformed the factory installed tires. I recently got a Bonneville T120 with Michelin tires and they handle awesome and I'm seeing claims of 12K miles. My T100 needs a set of tires but I am unwilling to fork out $550 for a set before knowing the longevity of the Michelins. So I got a set of Shinko 712's for $228 to put on the T100 while I determine if the Michelins are worth the money. It will be interesting to see if the 712's are as good as the 705's and if the Michelins are worth the price in comparison.

I have a 2022 PAS. I have had no issues that have left me stranded. But most of my issues have been with support for the bike than the bike itself. Like the battery thing. If I ride daily, I have no issues with the battery. Only when it sits and start it do I get codes. Here is the thing...no one told me to let the infotainment completely boot before running the starter!!!! This was HUGE. I let this thing sit for a week and it started up with no codes. The one time I forgot, and just like clock work, I got the BCM errors. Though now that I know what causes it, I just let the bike sit for a couple of minutes, restart i the right way and I am on the road no issues. Also, I take bad issues with a grain of salt. People that do not have problems are not most of the people posting. More people I know love this bike and have no issues. Most of the people I know that, traded them in, just traded up to a later model. If I rode more, I would probably trade mine in for a 2024 with all the fixes on it. But it is just not worth it for me to take the financial hit so I do not have to plug it into a charger. Lastly, there is never enough power from a motorcycle stator. I also have a 2008 Kawasaki Concours C14. I have burned out 2 stators on that bike. If I leave the bike on for more than a couple of minutes, it will not crank. When I go on trips, I have to keep a jump-starter on board. Sound familiar? Funny, this bike uses the same size battery as the Pan America. When I run stuff on it, I run a supplemental battery with an isolator/scr to take the load off the stator. Funny thing, the lastest model of this bike(2022) still has the same charging system. At least H-D beefed the 2024 PAS up a little.......

Gonna end up trading my ST back in for the S, I don’t tour or use the bags enough and the lighter weight of the S is nicer, and I prefer the classic gauge compared to the minimalist screen of the ST
