In line Skating
thank you so much for this
Glad you enjoyed!
Hey man, great vid. Since you skate with marsblade chassis, can I ask do you think you'd keep em on for league play, or do you think they'd be too heavy or not as stable compared to a straight or hi lo setup?
Couldn't give an honest helpful answer since I haven't skate in a hi-lo set up in ages. The idea behind hi-lo is very similar to that of the marsblades, however , with the marsblades you get more constant contact with the ground for more glide. On top of that I've only had the training chasis. If you get the roller one, it could be stronger and lighter for game play.
Good info thanks
Great explanations and quality
I got the vapors. When they baked them they told me I could sit, stand, walk around, whatever. Wish I would’ve known to stay sitting!
OMG is there a scanner in Europe??? 🤪
puckstop sheffield has one
Datsyuk used a huge stick. Like to his forehead
Amazing video , new sub
I went to buy some supreme skates but they didn't fit right. I felt pain in certain spots. I was about to leave because I tought both supreme and vapor are for the same foot shape and the difference is only the forward pitch, stifftness and design. Some guy from the back of the shop told me to try vapor, because there are some differences in the foot shape they fit. Bang! The vapora x2.9s were perect fit, like socks.... So it's not only up to your skating preferences. The suoreme mach came out with a wider toe section, so I went to try .... Still no good. Hyperlite, perfect fit. So ther's still differce between them. I still have my x2.9 vapors and I love them.
Are you a narrow or wide foot?
Great video. I’m coaching my 12u team tonight and this was exactly what our team needs! 🙏
Glad to be able to help!
Go NSA
You know I am not prepared to show any brand names on my Iceskate if they don't sponsor me, am I wrong.
This channel deserves more subs! Good visual quality and explanations!
Clear and straight to the point, thank u
Nice work
Great video and skills demonstration. Cheers May I please know the brand and type of street hockey puck you are using in the video. Thank you in advance.
Green biscuit! Swear by these pucks. Best product to use off the ice for skills.
I have super flat feet also. Im heading to Pure Hockey this Friday and hopefully they have that Bauer 3D scan there. That takes a lot of the guessing work out! I dont want to spend 300 to 400 dollars on skates for them to fucking murder my feet on the ice
Exactly! Hope the fitting goes well and you get a pair of skates that your feet love.
I feel your pain! Almost impossible to find skates that you don’t have to untie between shifts 🤦♂️😤
3:45 that shot is nuts! ))
Not bad eh!
I play left D for a beginners league! Thank you! This is very help, coach!
Glad it could add some value to your game!
Would love some more ideas for dryland goalie work. I have a ton of things for skaters but like a lot of coaches, my knowledge of the goalie position and drills to improve is lagging. Thanks!
Noted!
Keep the videos coming, these deep dives on specific skills are some of the best on YT!
Glad you like them! And more to come!
GRACIAS!!
De nada!
Ok vid... Clickbait title.
Lol guilty as charged!
The vapours are b******* how can you have quicker acceleration when the energy transfer is cut off by the flex el.sol you losing energy transfer
great video very underated channle
So did the Bauer scan suggest a box size 9? And are the box sizes US? Regards Mark
Suggested a 9 but I went down to an 8.5. And these are Bauer Skate Sizes, so its independent of US, AUS, UK etc foot shoe sizes. Hope that makes sense.
Holy shit what an incredible video, and the progression from basic skills to advanced make it simple to apply in practice or games. I wish you still made content, well done!
We still do! Been a bit busy playing but next season soon to come.
So all I ever see is the reviews and personal feelings on the Pro Level skates. What about some m info on the one step down like the Bapor 3x Pros etc. even the guys at Hockey Tutorials always say the Pro NHL boot would be too much for the normal beer leaguers, yet that only talk about the Pro NHL level skates.
Good idea!
Again, good stuff!
Glad you enjoy it!
Really great stuff! Many thanks. Keep doing more :-)
Thanks, will do!
Good job!
Thank you! Cheers!
Need more. Just found the channel!!
Appreciate the love!
Oldie, but everything mentioned in this video is still relevant in 2022.
Wow
More time and space bro.
good job
that studio is epic
I did vapors once. Never again. Hatem
What didn't you like about them?
solid.
Thanks!
Really like the last drill!
Excellent video. Seems like most videos on KZread reflect on the offensive game or the position of forwards or even skating, passing, shooting, etc. But most don't reflect on positioning either in the O or D zone or things like gap control. Offensive hockey is great to see...who doesn't love a between the legs goal or a Michigan, but as the saying goes - Defense wins championships. When you look at players like Cale Makar, Roman Josi, or even younger guys like Moritz Seider, puck possession by defensemen in each part of the ice (D zone, Neutral zone between blue lines, O zone) is key to general puck possession as well as both preventing goals and creating scoring chances. This video is extremely helpful for one just starting his hockey journey as it helps me understand why these players perform the way they do in certain situations.
Could you do a video about catching passes in stride? On my offwing I’m consistently switching between skating backwards through the neutral zone to present a forehand target for the pass or skating forwards and trying to catch on my backhand or dig a pass off the wall. Any tips would help and be appreciated.

Great content. Please keep these explanations coming.
Appreciate the support. Outlining the next season.
Do you know what muscles are used to flex a hockey stick? I want to use a stiffer stick. Thanks.
Outstanding
I've only watched a few videos but so far so good. Clear and concise with good explanations of how the concept of the video applies at different levels. Great work.
Thank you for the valuable feedback!
Very good video!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it.
thank you so much!
