Hi! I am Ashley and I am "that friend who dragged you on that crazy adventure that one time." :) Welcome to the channel!

This is a travel-based channel, where I focus on meaningful exploration with a keen interest in natural landscapes and culture. I particularly enjoy finding those off-the-beaten-path destinations, where I can fully immerse in the community and share with you some facts about the region.

I am a certified drone pilot, a videographer, and have earned three Emmy Awards for my work in production. All videos are filmed, scripted and edited by me. If you’d like me to come explore your area, feel free to reach out and let me know! I’m always looking for new and interesting locations to highlight on this channel! Thanks for watching. :)

    Hi. I will visit Murren this june and it is solo travel. I am thinking about this via ferrata and worried it might be dangerous. Hiring a guide is much expensive compared to just rent the equipment. Therefore, do you think it is doable without the guide for first timer? And, as for walking on tightrope, it looks very challenging. is it too difficult for first timer?

  • @akfasso
    @akfasso2 ай бұрын

    Hi there! This is a dangerous via ferrata. Have you done a via ferrata before anywhere else? Do you hike/climb regularly? I think the answer should be determined by your skillset. It is certainly possible to do this without a guide, but I would strongly discourage that if this is a new experience for you. The tightrope was one of the easiest parts. With all of that being said, I am SO glad I did the tour. Now that I’ve done the experience once with a guide, I would feel confident going back solo. (Also important to note: you can not do the zipline portion of this without a guide)
