    AS A WOODS MAN MYSELF WHO LOGED QUITE A BIT IN THE LAST 45 YESRS . WOULD RECOMENG USING 3-4 IN RAILS ABOUT 10 FT TO ROLL A BIG LOG ONTO YOUR SLEIGH . I ALWAYS USED A DOUBLE SET OF BOB SLEDS WITH CROSS HALLS SO AS YOU CAN LENGTHEN THEM OUT FOR A LONGER LOG . YOU HAVE TO TURN THE WEIGHT OF THE LOG WITH A SINGLE SLEIGH BUT YOU ONLY TURN THE FRONT SLEIGH WITH BOBS . NO STRAIN TURNING THEN .

    By far best oil change video....I've watched a bunch... Took me a minute to figure out the nut to check the oil pump.

    Hi, If I have a 4000 watts generator plug into the Vevor, will it produce 4000 watts for the house or only 2000 watts because of the inverter?

    Thank you for reminding us that we need to step up our own awareness and supplies. I agree 100% with you we are heading towards a full on 100 car train wreck. If you can't see it, you are on serious medication. Please don't let down your gaurd and keep preparing for when there are no stores, no electricity, no utilities, no rule of law. Please be safe, everyone, and keep working on your future.

    OK, there’s problems with this set up you need to skip using that hundred amp breaker on such small wire. In fact it’s not doing anything the wire will burn before that hundred amp breaker will trip. What I would do is install a 30 amp breaker on the top of the one side that you’re using and use that as your main breaker or else you could be asking for trouble

    Great video, I plan on following your build videos for my cabin in Nova Scotia. Did you mean to say 118 1/2 for each of your 2 Rim joists instead of 119 1/2. 118.5+118.5 =237" +3" =240"

    I had frayed wires under the air box and under seat that messed with my voltage regulator. Popped the regulator 2 times before discovering the wires. Popped bulbs every once and awhile before it would kill the voltage regulator

    NEW SUBSCRIBER, SUGGESTION, I would fill those blocks with concrete and insert a metal nailing flange into the wet concrete to nail the beams to. U said the plan was to attach plywood to the underside of the floor framing, great idea. Can I also suggest instead of crawling under the cabin floor, install 1inch X 1inch nailing strips at the base of the framing so you could easily drop your plywood on top of the nailers from above and gives you east access to drop in insulation. That's a lot to suggest from a new Subscriber but it's good building practice‼️GOOD LUCK AND KEEP YOUR BEAUTIFUL DOGS AWAY FROM THAT BEAR‼️ Vinny 🇺🇸

    Sir, if I start out with one panel and I battery, can I add on to the system to increase energy requirements?

  • @Robrob8593
    @Robrob85934 ай бұрын

    You can get an MPPT controller that handles, 12,24, 48 volts and increase your systems that way but if you plan to go bigger in the future it is best to start out bigger as you may be throwing money away in batteries, cables and components. Electrical and solar isn't too hard to understand but there is a lot of tolerances in equipment you want to follow. The best thing I think to do is draw and write down what you want and see what is out there for each component of the system.

    This panel can put out close to 100 watts kzread.infoUgkxOqI2yqX0XVrhR2BMJciTWrHJpG8FhJyg when positioned in the appropriate southernly direction, tilted to the optimal angle for your latitude/date, and connected to a higher capacity device than a 500. The built in kickstand angle is a fixed at 50 degrees. Up to 20% more power can be output by selecting the actual date and latitude optimal angle.The 500 will only input 3.5A maximum at 18 volts for 63 watts. Some of the excess power from the panel can be fed into a USB battery bank, charged directly from the panel while also charging a 500. This will allow you to harvest as much as 63 + 15 = 78 watts.If this panel is used to charge a larger device, such as the power station, then its full output potential can be realized.

    Thank you for this. This has confirmed my thoughts about getting a split phase (120v/240v) inverter and connecting the output of the inverter to power my cabin. My range will be 100% propane, a propane tankless water heater that does have a 24w draw, lights and outlets for both floors.
