  Hi. If you want to set your watch to time it is not necessary to do so at the same time every day. If it is a calendar watch then we advise against altering the hands on a watch between 10 and 2 o' clock

  The vintage Admiral is a lovely watch, I just wish they made a more integrated, simpler and elegant brushed stainless steel bracelet. A case that beautiful deserves a superior bracelet than that fussy ill fitting thing.

  You may need to ask a watchmaker to look at your watch if it does not work as per our video.

  @@adamwithington3981 thanks, i think it's a case of winding it right through day by day. There is a video showing a shortcut of flicking it past 8am but didn't seem to work on my 1957 model
