Is the pen res useable ?
The music overpowers the vocals.
Thank you I have been struggling with learning how to make a basic card your video help me make my very first card. Although I have to redo it, I learned a lot. I used to fine a font
How do you figure out what size envelope to make for the card and where do you find it in Design Space?
I’ve personally not had great luck with trying to make envelopes, so I usually buy the envelopes! You just want to make sure the envelope is slightly larger than your final card dimensions.
@@DebsJoyfulDesigns thank you!
How do get the wood around the design not to discolor ?
Hey! The stencil should be well adhered to keep the ink from leaking through. After you’ve colored the design, if you are worried about the wood discoloring you could always seal it with a spray sealer to keep it from discoloring! I usually use water based sealant - it is a little harder to find, but the oil based sealant tends to discolor a bit.
Music in background is too loud.
Did you use permanent Vinyl?
Do you know how to cut it without saving the middle part of the A'a and O's without saving the pieces?
Would you not be able to just do it as a square thats sized vs doubling size and scoring?
There you are! 👋How stinking cute are you! Third vid in, love what you do! 👊
Super cute! Can't wait to show this video to my daughter.
From one maker to another, awesome craft! I've watched over a half dozen wood and cricut videos tonight and this was the best so far. The others weren't terrible, just too much for what I like. Gonna check your channel and see what else you're doing!
I just got a Cricut and your videos have help. You have lots of tip. Thanks
Some are a bit quick and you can't see what they are clicking on needs to be slower and show you what they are clicking on sorry its not that easy
This is super cute!
Very good explanation. Great video. Music little loud but it could be just me.
Thank you!! I was able to follow along easily to make my first card!
Sorta disappointed, I got through most of the video skipping as much as I could, to get to the current part. I received a wood burning kit for my birthday and, wanted to learn how to use it, with a cricut stencil...
I’ve seen alternative ways to do this that seem more efficient and with better results. Keep searching, good luck!
Thanks for sharing, great beginner tips
Thanks girl!!!❤
Thanks for watching!!
Thank you for this Tutorial. It helps alot 😊

Can I use card stock or paper from anywhere? Or do I HAVE to use Cricut material?
Yes definitely! You can use any cardstock you want!
I live it
I am so interested in the content but the background music was so annoying to me. I had to stop watching because of it.

Thank you for this!! Not only is this a great beginner tutorial, but it also shows how much you can make without buying expensive Cricut cards and inserts! 🤗
Thanks so much for watching! That was my goal, the inserts are of course convenient but so expensive!
With your tutorial I made my first card. Your video is easy to follow. Now I have to learn how to make an envelope. Thank you!!

It didn't look like regular vinyl, can you tell me the name of the pen and vinyl you used? Great video!
Hey! Thanks so much for watching ❤️ Here is the link to the marker: amzn.to/3H9A8vw and the vinyl: amzn.to/3kfZgXp. I use Cricut’s removable vinyl for all my stencils!
This is a perfect beginners card! I was able to make my dad a nice father’s day card with this tutorial
That’s awesome! Thanks for watching! ❤️
Which brand markers are you using and where can I buy them?
Hey! I got it on Amazon! There are several brands available, but this is the one I used: amzn.to/3H9A8vw
Love it
Thanks for watching! ❤️
Nice and simple. What program are you using, can this be done in Word another program? Thanks!
This was done in Cricut design space! Yes, it can be done in plenty of other programs as well. The steps would potentially be different depending on what program you use though.
How do you like your heat marker as compared to scorch marker? Where can I get one and how much did it cost?
Hey! They seemed about the same to me, but I’d be curious to hear from anyone who has tried both! The link to the one I used is in the video description!
I stumbled on this. KUDOS AND THANKS for a great lesson
Thanks so much for watching!
so nice
Thanks so much for watching!
Can you tell me what sizes you made the card and the insert?
Hey there! Yes, the card is 8.5 inches by 5.5 inches and the insert is 4 inches by 5.25 inches. Thanks for watching!
This is my first time making any card. Your instructions were very clear and easy to follow. Thank you so much tor the video it was of great help.
Awesome! So glad it was helpful!
Does the paint underneath the stencil not come off when you remove the stencil?
Hey! It shouldn’t! Using removable vinyl helps a lot with this. You also want to make sure the undercoat of paint has had plenty of time to dry all the way. Certain removable vinyl works better for this in my opinion. Sometimes you have to play with it a little bit to find the right one for you! I have my favorite one linked in the description! Thanks for watching!
Your tutorial is way easier than most that I've seen.
Thanks so much for watching!
