well done, I´ve learned a lot from this webinar. for instance, I didn´t know, that US/NATO is preparing even war in the artic - because of the ressources and their claim to leadership of the world. so let´s hope to stop them soon and claim the leadership of the UN-Charter and its General Assembly

In Sweden no one but 350 people voted to join Nato. And the reason is Natod expansionism, just look at now Global Nato where Nato want to encircle China as well, just look at a map with US military bases globally. The answer is that US people need to take back power from the Deep state and Wallstreet.

It's a sad story of the Ukrainian peace movement. But in this lies also the long standing belligerent sentiments of the government. Not only did it wage war on its own alleged population, it allowed NATO to play its games there, and the advertisement of the Ukrainian flag with the text 'Stop War', we've seen since the beginning of the war didn't mean stop the war, but stop Russia. The refusal to sign peace agreements both in 2015 and 2022 is clear evidence of that.

What a sad story of mental decline caused by old age and, probably, harmful environment 😔 Russia invaded Ukraine - it's US fault 🤡 Yes, this is the impressive logic of someone calling US worse than 5-year-olds. This conflict is not 30 years old - it is 500 years old. It started before US even existed, but this is somehow war between US and Russia 🤡 Sachs' economic advice to Gorbachov was the biggest economic disaster in economic history that any person living today experienced in his life. So far, nobody has presented any vestige of a trace of a hint of existence of those "solid assurances" about NATO non-expansion. Because they could not be possibly given, as the decision whether to join lies with applicant countries alone, and the NATO statute tells the same. Neocon conspiracy, right. To surround Russia. Before the war in Ukraine, the "surrounding" was 1.5% complete. Serious theory, we should believe it. Nuland gave out cookies on Maidan, how could he not mention it?!!! Billions of dollars of US military aid for Ukraine since 2014 never existed, but who cares. We have no negotiations because you don't negotiate with terrorists. Let's listen to Orban - he is a wise and unbiased politician 🤡 Russia never intended to abide by Minsk agreements. Nothing threatened the Russian fleet in Sevastopol before Russians attacked Ukraine. China is the responsible player 🤡

Ukraine has been made another Iraq and Libya, for example. Ukraine has become a battleground for NATO's arms trade, while ukraine and its people are killed and destroyed every day. See what happened and is going on in iraq, Libya, Palestine, etc. Millions of people have been killed over there. You and the whole world know this, right? This is why most nations on earth don't want to practically cooperate with the west to sanction or do whatever the west wants them to do against Russia. Ukraine and NATO as a whole will not win russia militarily becoz Russia still remains strong militarily, economically, technologically, and diplomatically. More critically, russia has thousands of nuclear weapons. So would NATO want to completely win russia? That is just an illusion hidden with greediness and selfishness of just some corrupt people. ☆ A little voice and sincere regards from Southeast Asia

I put zero value in the preaching of Jeffrey Sachs from his high horse. The fact that he could not speak so openly in Russia against Russia like he does in the US against the US is proof that his way of assigning blame is FLAWED. The Russia - Ukraine war was started exclusively by one party: Russia. No one was threatening Russia before the war started. And Biden has been extra careful to avoid a direct provocation, including the recent rejection of accepting Ukraine into NATO right away. Mr. Sachs should control his personal ire, which could be a studied attitude, and realize that the one culprit of this conflict is... the human nature! After world war 2 started would he cry out because Germany's Hitler and Britain's Churchill didn't "negotiate"? Or because after Pearl Harbor Roosevelt and Hirohito didn't "negotiate"? Sometimes negotiation is not possible and a war has to reach its conclusion. In this case, this should be the retreat of Russia from Ukraine.

Russian apologist. Drawing Russia into a conflict is exactly what the world needs. You prefer the kleptocracy of Putin to remain in power, to rob their own people, to crush democratic aspirations. Meanwhile Sachs prances around disparaging his own country, exercising his Free Speech, while dismissing the desires of Eastern European states distrustful of Russia for decades of abuse and oppression, never wanting to be a part of their domination again. Between Russian hegemony and American hegemony, the choice is clear.

Is there a citation for the 'solemn assurances' claim? Does the perceived failure to abide by those unspecified 'solemn assurances' justify an invasion of Ukraine by Russia? If the goal is a just and lasting peace, maybe a first step would be to recognize why we are not at peace now. Any analysis of an unwillingness to use words might examine the absence of any ultimatum leading up to the 2-24-22 invasion of Ukraine. What did Russia want to negotiate that we were refusing to negotiate? Was it where the border is between the two nations? The fact that there are international forums where, if the border were in dispute, Russia could have raised the issue, but has not done so, suggests a bit of a puzzle as to what should be negotiated. Sachs appears more concerned about words or lack of words from the West as a source of harm than about the harm caused by the invading army. What agreements were made w/ Gorbachev in 1990 that, if broken, could be seen as justifying an invasion of Ukraine by Russia?

What needs to happen is the bricks country needs to get together and send troops and weapons to Russian side and help push the west back and start shooting down NATO weapons weapon shipments that should have been done from from the beginning and Russia should have said the first weapons shipment that comes in after the war starts will be considered an act of nuclear war and should have had their nuclear weapons systems ready to go in an instant just to show the United States they weren't playing

Prof Sachs. Really appreciate you speaking up for the truth, and educate us. Love the comments said it all about you. I have a question about protesters were funded by US. Do you know who funded the Tiananmen Square protesters and Hong Kong’s protesters? I heard US wants countries surrounding China to establish something similar to NATO. US want’s Taiwan war with China. Taiwan has 18% of population vote for war. Most Taiwan Chinese don’t like war.
