I get it. Hailing from Portugal, I am also fed up with Portugeese being associated with birds... My solidarity goes to Peru as well. 😛

They both had military dictatorship - franco and salazar! Bullfighting was also a thing in both countries. Lots of people in Portugal speak English, not so much in Spain.

As a Spaniard, I would like to emphasize that what truly enriches our country is its diversity. Just like a garden becomes more beautiful with a variety of colorful flowers, Spain thrives in its unity through diversity. Everyone is welcome to visit Spain, and we also warmly invite you to stay and put down roots. ¡Viva la unidad en diversidad! Visca la unitat en la diversitat! Viva a unidade na diversidade! Gora batasuna aniztasunean! Visca era unitat ena diversitat! Long live unity in diversity!

Linguists call it a dialect based on criteria they use for any pidgin language. I didn’t decide it’s a pidgin. I don’t know anything specific about the language.

West Malaysia is actually part of the Asian mainland. Meanwhile, Indonesia, Sabah-Sarawak (now part of East Malaysia), Brunei, and the Philippines are part of the Austronesian nations, which should have their own continental name, namely the Pacific Islands. The west Malaysian was initially uninhabited but began to be settled when it became a refuge for tribes and members of the royal family from Indonesia, who were expelled due to political conflicts at that time.

modern day Spain is sort of like the United kingdom. the Castilians are like the English, the Catalonians are like the Scottish, and the Asturians are like the Welsh. and then the Portuguese are like the Irish, because they too managed to keep their independence.

Zacharias Papantoniou (Greek: Ζαχαρίας Παπαντωνίου) was a Greek writer. He was born in Karpenissi of Evrytania in February 1877 and died in Athens in 1940. He spent the first years of his life in Granitsa, where his father was a teacher. Apart from a writer, he was also a journalist. Many of the works of Zacharias Papantoniou, unfortunately are censored, because it tells the truth, on the Greek history. In that censored group is also the book, ''The King Otto''. Below we state a fragment from this book: ''The young Prince for first time come in Athens on January 25, 1833, he hardly heard anyone speak in Greek and so he asked: "Where are the Greeks in Athens?" His court looked at each other and answered: "There are no Greeks, but do not be troubled because this Albanian population will always be faithful to your monarchy."
