I think some kind of connection can be formed with these types of women on a certain level...but usually they are riddled with personality disorders that can truly confuse and break a man that gets involved with them. Two things: A corporate lawyer who charges $1300/hr does not mean he makes $1300 each hour of each day, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. If he works, let's say, 12 hours a day, then he nets $650/hr in a 24-hour day. Also, he charges $1300 for his services. He is skillful and nearly unbeatable as a lawyer, therefore, his services come at a high cost. But, is he awesome as a date? Is he an amenable person? Friendly? Approachable? Sympathetic? I'm guessing he is just as average (or slightly below average) as the next fellow. Therefore, what is his worth as a companion on a date, as opposed to his worth a lawyer? It sure as hell not $650/hr.

If you have the energy to be a decent date, you have the energy to do good work and charge for it. But it's not necessarily about working more. Time is the most valuable resource. What it comes down to is how much you value it. How much would you pay someone to save an hour of your time so that you could do something else? Which is related to how much money you make per hour as one way to get an hour of time is to skip one hour of work. And that hour comes at the cost of lost income. When you're very successful, dating is exceedingly expensive. Because you just don't have the time. You have to sacrifice activities of significant value. All of the cheap sources of time like mowing lawn were eliminated long ago. Also, you never count the time you spend sleeping as it's not productive and cannot be productive. You could try sleeping less but it doesn't change the principle and it would cost you elsewhere. If I sleep 6.5 hours on average, then my day effectively has 17.5 hours and that's what I have to work with. It's as if those 6.5 hours didn't exist. Lights out. I can't work, I can't date, nothing. I have to sleep and when I sleep, all I can do is to sleep.
