  thats completely USELESS also it takes less than 5 seconds to cut the metal tab between the lock n the back of the seat with a cordless cut off wheel

  Obviously! The average person doesn’t walk around with thief tools while out and about . It’s a deterrent to slow down someone from just walking off with the seat. Just like you can’t stop someone from bypassing your cheap bike alarm by lifting your bike on the back of a pickup. Make it make sense

  Will this work as a driver backrest but still have my king size tour pack on? I know it sounds like a crazy question. I have the Le Pera DLL. It doesn’t have a slot for a backrest but it’s comfortable and i dont want to buy another seat. I also have my king tour pack permanently mounted on my 4 point docking system. Im 6’6 so these are tall guy issues. This is why i dont want to change the seat.

  If you’re in the Houston area. Try Pasadena cycles in Pasadena,Tx they have been the lowest I’ve seen in the commercial dealers. I hope this helps.

  I believe he’s out of the mechanic business. Your next best bet would be Pasadena cycles. 2535 Spencer Hwy, Pasadena, TX 77504 they have some of the lowest hourly rates in town. Good luck

  Im also 6'-4" 300lbs. I was thinking 16s would be perfect for my 06 road king but have actually been torn between 14s and the 16s Is it REALLY a big enough difference?

  I believe the 14s have better control with less flex. Just my opinion…

  I would go for 14’s if you have shorter arms. 12’s will make you have to reach out to hold a relaxed riding position. I’m 6ft 4” and went with 14’s keep in mind that you can’t pull back on most bars due to Harley’s having that safety notch to keep the bars from rotating so… make sure you purchase bars with enough slant backwards to come to you instead of you reaching out to grab the bars.   It should have cat in the muffler near the clamp of the head pipes, according to the manufacturer details. I gave the same pipes and was curious.

  Back in 2005 when I knew nothing about Harley Davidson’s, other than the fact that I wanted one, I got a softail deluxe and put some 18 inch ape hangers on it. I am a 6 foot tall man. And I got the bright idea to ride from Los Angeles to Santa Barbara, and I regretted it. as of now I have a 2023 road glide and I’m definitely going to get the 14 inch factory 47’s.   They have been great so far. Pretty accurate. Most suitable for hip hop or heavy trance music. Definitely better than any kicker or store brand. Hope that helps

  I’m in the market for new bars- between the kst and the factory 47 I’m a female -5’5 with a stock handlebars of 9” on a 22 RG Height? Do a 12 or a 14 ? And, I’m concerned about the width on the factory 47 - on the 14s it’s 37” on the 12 it’s 36 the kst that can be adjusted - thoughts?
